@Mfan28179-Jason: OMG! another Eurythmics fan? kewl!
yup, the peacetour DVD is a masterpiece. Now that´s a DVD worth buying. The whole concept of the tour is excellent. And the best thing is that all proceeds went to Amnesty International and Greenpeace.
It´s such a pity they didn´t play ¨Power to the meek¨, because that´s my favorite song from peace. The playlist was great anyways.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add “A Thing About You” to my list as well. ;)
Markuz, I’m actually more so of a new Eurythmics fan. It’s interesting because it was here in the Small Talk forums at TDR that I read about someone raving about the “Peace” album. Perhaps it was you? So I downloaded “I Saved The World Today” and loved it. I saw the “Peace” album (apparently the cut-out version) at Media Play for $7.99, took a chance, and bought it. I fell in love with the album. I had the Eurythmics “Greatest Hits” (US version) in my collection for years but I had never bought anything else by them. Then I stumbled across the “17 Again” UK import at Sam Goody with live versions of “Why” and “Here Comes The Rain Again” from the Peacetour. So basically one thing led to another and I found myself buying their “Greatest Hits” on DVD and then the “Peacetour” on DVD last week - after reading several raving reviews at amazon.com. I was inspired and it surely did not disappoint! Woah! My favorite is probably “The Miracle Of Love” - which I hadn’t heard prior to the concert. “Power To The Meek” would have been great. I would have liked more songs from the “Peace” album, but hey, it was all good!
I’m rambling too much now. I tried visiting www.eurythmics.net but the site is gone.
Any ideas what’s going on? Do you know of any good Eurythmics sites or message boards?
Thanks.

I see a lot of “Just Like A Pill” by P!nk on people’s lists. That’s one of my favorites of the year. If you guys like the original version, check out the “Jacknife Lee Remix”! This is excellent as well! It’s a whole new rock twist.
