I was so sad when I read it cause Per lost his father when he was in his early 20’s and I could relate him to my dad. So...

You can read it in The book.
But some newspapers e.g german Bravo has written that he had cancer which is not true.

Sad topic. In the biography it says that Per’s father died on April 27th 1978 because of cancer.
