It’s from yesterday.

Can someone translate it please? The only thing I understand is that it will be a hard operation.

By the way, I’m not a Swede, so there can be some mistake...

Thanx Santi!!! Your Swedish must be very good if you can translate such an article :-)

Thanks Wen ;), but anyway I think a Swede should read it... or someone else who can speak Swedish.

Some experts in brain surgery talk about the operation that Marie needs. They say because of the position of the tumour the operation is a very difficult one, because it’s very hard to “do something” there.
In the back side of the skull there is the cerebellum that controls breathing, blood pressure and other very important things to go on living...
Just the operation can cause important injures, depending exactly on where the tumour is growing. Other sides of the brain can begin to do certain functions from the damaged zone, but it takes a long time.
They cannot say how serious it can be exactly before the tumour is taken and studied with a microscope.
There are different kinds of tumours and some are over once they have been taken from the brains, but others go on spreading after it and need further treatment.
50% of people with brain tumour survive and it affects 1300 people every year.
Nobody knows what causes it.
Then it talks about the NOTP and that Marie has to rest at least the rest of this year.
“During the last days Aftonbladet has received 700 e-mails from readers with “get well” greetings for Marie Fredriksson”.
That she has a lot of fans.
Then they describe how the operation is done... do you want to know it exactly?
