Maybe it’s a stupid question, but the new trend on my region’s malls are bands concerting in the Foods&Drinks area...then I thought...hmmm...if a Roxette cover band appeared in my town, would I buy a ticket to watch’em? And you? Would you PAY for a cover-concert? I honestly never // heard about// thought as possible // a band covering Roxette properly...

In Holland we’ve had a whole project with bands covering their idols. It was called The Marlboro Flashback tour. Well-known Dutch bands covering artists they like. I was quite succesful. Mostly it was about ten (sold out) shows through the country for each band.

I’ve seen Björn Again, they’re very good at what they do ......if there was a Roxette cover band as good as them I’d go and see it for entertainment value but *IMO* alot of the cover bands suck (and I’ve seen a few)...maybe they need to find their own ideas for a change ;)

if the atmospheres good then why not (though i would much rather the real thing :p )
actually i’ve changed my mind - i probably wouldn’t go see a roxette cover band, haven’t heard anyone to date that could really do p&m justice
