they are really good!!! now you have the chance to buy four of their five albums in a box. It’s really worth it, because they’ve been remastered and they come with extra tracks!

I know!!!.... I should have said... “and now ALSO you have the chance......” for people who don’t have the albums.... I bought the treasure box and the greatest hits, too.

I really like the Cranberries (especially “To The Faithful Departed” and “Bury the Hatchet”), but I wasn’t very thrilled with the new single, “Stars,” when I first heard it... but then, I couldn’t get the damned song out of my head! So I guess there really is something to it after all (: The greatest hits comes out in Canada on the 24th, so I have to wait a little longer to get it...

The Cranberries are GREAT!!!! I have all their CDs. Whatsmore, they are coming to Hungary to hold a concert here on November 2th, the same day I was in a Roxete concert last year!

vaxjoe said on September 22, 2002 17:12:
i like new new york more than stars...the only thing i didnt like is that “daffodil lament” i dont understand why it was voted as #1 by fans...anyway i cant find the TREASURE BOX with the complete sessions cds :(
coyboyusa said on September 22, 2002 20:51:
there are many cd online outlets which sell it daffodil lament is a great song
i_jera said on September 22, 2002 20:59:
I found the TREASURE BOX in an online shop here... but it is quite expensive for me, s.th. like 80 EU, so I’ll buy it someday later... it includes the first 4 albums, right? I mean, Wake Up And Smell The Coffee isn’t included, is it?
animalkingdom said on September 23, 2002 20:16:
The Cranberries rock!
But their Greatest Hits album features songs that were never released as singles...Am I right? I mean I never caught eg “Hollywood” anywhere.
roxtexanet said on September 23, 2002 20:21:
@animalkingdom: Apparently the fans were keen on this one being included as the “fan favourite” and then the band realised that it had actually been a single in France, and took it out of the running (: It’s definitely my favourite non-single by the Cranberries!
vaxjoe said on September 23, 2002 20:55:
@animalkingdom: NO actually hollywood was a single...the stars cd booklet has the hollywood singles cover...
@roxtexanet: the song that the fans chose (non single) to be included wasnt hollywood but “Daffodil Lament” ....and i really cannot see why they chose that song...
vaxjoe said on September 23, 2002 21:04:
anything u wish to know about THE CRANBERRIES:
its my good friends site...its very nice one :)
please sign the guestbook ;)
roxtexanet said on September 23, 2002 21:34:
@vaxjoe: Yes, that’s correct, but the fans had originally favoured “Hollywood” (according to the band’s website) and then the band remembered that it had been a single in France and so it was dropped from the list of songs fans could vote on. I would have chosen “Wake Up and Smell the Coffee,” but it didn’t make the “short list” either.
vaxjoe said on September 23, 2002 21:39:
well i havent really been a fan b4 i mean i just knew their big hits but since i bought STARS im studying a lot bout them :P but i didnt know the story behind hollywood and daffodil lament
but i told my friend whos a crans fan “why did the fans chose that song” and he said he cant really understand it also...he also said he prefered a song called “dying in the sun” instead..
