I did my best with the translation. :)

The article in AFTONBLADET (17/9):

She´s going to be fine!

Yesterday Per met his tumor- affected friend and colleague Marie Fredriksson.
Per Gessle met Marie Fredrikson, who has recently been told that she has a brain-tumor.
Now, friends and family keep their fingers crossed for the singer.

- The first couple of days have been damn horrible, Per says.

At the same time as Roxette are planning for a big fall-tour with 600 000 sold tickets and two new records, Marie ended up in hospital with a concussion.
During the examinations a brain- tumour was found in the back of her head.
Close friend and college from Roxette, Per Gessle, visited Marie yesterday.

She’s pissed!

- I was positively surprised. I didn’t know what to expect, but I didn’t think that she would be so fit and happy, as she was. She was angry that all this is happening now, when there’re so much to do (with rox), says Gessle.

Wednesday afternoon Marie collapsed in the bathroom at her house, and suffered a bad concussion.
The tumor in the back of the head, was found on Friday after many exams and tests, – computer tomography, and brain x-rays, among other things. The doctors will keep on doing tests to determine if the tumor is good or bad.

She has loads of difficult tests to go through in the near future. But she’s determined and strong, which convinces me that she’ll be alright, says Per Gessle.

Nothing is cancelled.

600 000 tickets are sold, to the big Roxette fall-tour in Germany, Holland and Belgium.
And this fall, a ballad compilation, and a pop compilation will be released

But the future looks uncertain.

- nothing is cancelled yet. We’re waiting for the results of Maries tests. Marie really wants everything to be as usual. She´s very determined that everything should go as planed, and jokes about being on TV before Christmas, Per says.

- But I will comply to how she feels. There’s no Roxette without Marie.

The result within the next week will determine how the treatment will look.
Depending on where the tumour is placed in the head, there will be operations or radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
But first Marie has to get rid of the concussion.

Four weeks of rest.

The doctors has ordered the 44 year old singer to rest for four weeks.
I haven’t seen Marie for a month, so I didn’t noticed that something was wrong before. This makes one think about how fragile one is, says Per Gessle.

How´s your relationship with Marie?

We’re kind of like good siblings. We’ve known each other since the 70- t, since teenage years in Halmstad. And we´ve also had an incredible journey with Roxette together, says Per Gessle.

A lot of fans has been sending their greetings to Marie over Roxette´s homepage, where they hope Marie´s gonna be fine.
She’s very grateful that everyone is thinking about her. We will keep our fingers crossed, Per says.
