Sad happenings are always followed.... Its crazy. Marie gets Ill and suddenly, Roxette get full attention again. Its weird, but I have a little over 50 channels, and on at least 40 they have talked about Marie and Per, and there new realese.
By the way, if anyone from RTL sees this. Per and Marie are NOT married :)
Get well soon Marie. Stop the new realeses and take your self some time to get well.
Oh yea.. Have got my copy off ATAY. ITS GREAT ! ! !

They said the recordcompany told them the release of the new album would probably be silent without promotion, and Marie has an tumor, which is (i dont now how to translate this properly) bad.
How weird that they got that news...suppose its only gossip...i do hope so...

How convenient for them, now they finally have an excuse for not doing any promotion... I mean, when was the last time a new album was released _with_ promotion in the Netherlands?

I understand that you are upset that has been no promo for Roxette over the last 2 years but men i think that we should focus on more important issues that promo!!! I mean first a childish argue here for a month about nor wanting a GH compilatio now you are sarcastically crying for the lack of promotion in your country and that the record label might not be doing any for the BH album now? First Marie then the rest....the music is still there so enjoy it yourself and forget if people are not interested in Roxette’s music anymore.... you don’t depende on others to live your life do you?

I don’t think this is giving Roxette any publicity at all ... this is more serious that a promo strategy. Roxette and EMI would have to be really “creeps” to do things so...
The fact that Marie is now on focus can only be explained because Roxette are still a worldwide known band so it makes sence to me that the events make into TV.

And secondly, I think you got me totally wrong, I’m absolutely not expecting Marie to do promotion at all! All I was trying to say is that EMI Netherlands didn’t do much promotion over the last couple of years without having a real excuse and now they finally have one... :-( I didn’t say they should do promotion in spite of Marie havig a tumor, did I?
And how come you think you can judge over me or my life, you don’t even know me! I’ll probably regret saying this, but I think as someone who hasn’t been here for too long, you aren’t really in the position to do so, either...
BTW: I _never_ argued about getting the two compilations, so what does this have to do with me?

we don’t need to go on a drama because of this, first I don’t you know you but the way you said things made reach a false conclusion that you were from the NLands... sorry for that. But if you were more specific perhaps i could have not said what i did so it’s all because of the way you said it.

Third i was just expressing my desagreament with your believe about all this promo thing.... if it is your believe cause by the way you said it souded like it. Do please make yourself clear so that no one makes of your statement any other missunderstanding, right?
I don’t know you neither you know and you don’t know how long i’ve been on TDR neither do i know how long have you....but that’s not the point....
This was all as consequece of a language expression missunderstanding that could have been made by you or me or anyonelse... and like i did anyone could have reacted the way i did. Just to let you know that it was not my intention to offend you or anything similar ....
I have been through this as well so do please acept this suggestion next time you post something make sure the idea is clearly understood by other fans and readers...
Finally... (this ain’t a remark to you Starrox it’s only an algemeine Meinung klar?) with or without Promotion anyone who thinks otherwise should be a fool to think that Roxette’s music ain’t good because we all here agree that it is... everything else like wanting Roxette to be number one and to sell million of copies is a childish atitude for me ... if it happens fine if not who cares... we still love their music don’t we?
Or why do we love and apreciate their music?

When you said “for THEM” you can really take it ask if you are talking about Roxette, and not EMi NL....
But when reading it again - and knowing the situation in NL - i understood it right..
