I wanna know if I’m one of the only people in the USA who still loves Roxette!!! Man I have been to every store in my city and cannot find a new Roxette album anywhere. All the ones they sell I have. Joyride, Look Sharp, Tourism, and Crash, Boom, Bang! What other CDs are there? Where would be the best place to find them? Pardon my ignorence and my spelling.

I haven’t seen it, and trust me I look everytime I go to the store!!! It sucks!!

that is rediculous! I mean, here in Europe we are told, that Orxette released for example their greates hits in the states... no wonder that it doesn’t sell at all, if you guys can’t even get it!
Where in the states are you from??
MamaT381 said on September 13, 2002 16:02:
Texas!!! I know it ludicris, I mean Britney Spears, NSYNC, I could go on and on about those band that don’t even really and I mean really try, are big everywhere! Why not Roxette? They are way better!!! You can feel the passion and joy that they put into their music. With the others they come up wanting!!

Hey now, have you ever heard of Areosmith, Metallica, Stevie Ray Vaughn, or Michael Jackson(igonore the fact that I don’t really care for him) you can hear the feeling and passion in their songs and they are from the USA!

I visited Orlando in Florida in 2001 and saw many of Roxette’s albums in your malls...
...including the USA edition of their Greatest Hits album.

Mama, I never said that singers of USA didn’t have any feelings in their song... oh n by the way most of the names u mentioned are old runners, the Classic guys. The new stuff is cheap and pathetic and they r on TOP at the moment so admit it :)

Hey Mama! :) I live in California, and have to go to places like cdnow.com and the likes to get ANYTHING past Crash! Boom! Bang!. It is really depressing to think that BS (Britney Spears (or another name would be bull****) is huge for not even writing her own songs, and Roxette is so underappreciated.
Thanks to the internet (I’ve also bought albumns on ebay), I have every albumn they’ve come out with (with the exception of ’Rarities’ and ’Demo’).
No stores in America will have any new Roxette stuff. I saw the new Greatest Hits albumn for maybe two seconds, before I was told it was pulled because of ’poor sales’. Yeesh!!!
Anyway, off of the soapbox for me.
Cheers,
Salvation7-20-7

Mama i know how you must feel.... the sad things is that record companies are no longer interested on non-american acts especially if they are too old and if they are from Europe...
They just want the hottest thinhgs that SELL like Hip Hop RnB Rock and Tenn-POp (girls and boybands)
And that’s it that’s the music scene today in the USA and that’s all that record companies want...
Even if Roxette made it again to release their albums there.... people would not take them seriously musicallywise and say “Roxette they are still existinig?” or “That’s old stuff...” they just want always what’s new and hot...what’s sexy and controversial....only a few number of people do still care for real music....but roxette again on the top in the states it’s impossible for all the reasons i presented here!
Mama: you can try to get “Have a nice day” and “Room Service” from the Internet...
or
try to get in touch with someone from Europe like me and try to get both albums and also the european DBGTC album (which is better than the american one) through that person....
have a try Ok???

Hi Mama!
The best place would be the internet. In the Web you can Order basically any CD you would like.
So haven’t you heard the latest Albums yet? Like Have a nice day and Room Service? Can’t you get the Greatest hits in the states? I thought you could....
