Yesterday I read somewhere on the Internet, that Stars as a single was a different version. Is that true? Was it better than the Album Version? Was it better dance? (not the cheap HAND crap dance music)??
Is the single still availablke somewhere? What where the other Remixes like???

Ja, besonders für eine 3. Single war Stars sehr erfolgreich. Mit einer Höchstplzierung von 23 war Stars der erste Top 25 Song seit SIMC (also seit über 5 Jahren). WICF kam nur bis auf 26.
Stars hat HAND nochmal so richtig hochgepusht (wieder rein in die Top 60).
Kannst du ganz gut sehen in der HAND Chartskurve auf meiner Seite (Bereich Charts):

There are many versions of Stars, but the 3 7” versions are (including the album version): The album version with children, the single version with just Marie, but still slowed down, and finally the best version, in my opinion, the one without children, with Marie and NOT slowed down! I forget who mixed that particular version, if it was Almighty or Shooting Star. It wasn’t Stonebridge at least.

When I first heard that song I loved it, because of the Children choir, but soon later, I started to hate it and still do!

@Brian: The video was made for the album version of Stars (that’s why there are the children) ;)
The almighty single edit they used for tv performences & for the radio, but some stations also played the album version, instead of the single version.

the video sux, the single too. the official single was with that children choir. almighty is just a remix, it was played sometimes in the radio. but not so often like the album edit.
