In my opinion the following songs shouldn’t have been released:

1. “Church of your heart” instead of this I’d have released “Things will never been the same”

2. “Fingertips” instead of this I’d released perhaps “the rain”, but that would have been to much “rain” from Tourism ;)

3. “Vulnerable” there would have so many better singles on CBB, for example “Love is all”, “Do you wanna go the whole way”

4. “June Afternoon”, there was not so much to choose on this album ;) so they “had to” release this song…

5. “Salvation” it was definitely time to release “Crush on you” as a Single.

I also would have released a 5th single from HAND for example COY (if it wasn’t the 4th one) or Pay the price. I’d also liked to release a 4th single from RS (MWMLML or Fool).

I was never really a big fan of “Real Sugar” being a single. They should’ve released Jefferson or Looking for Jane instead. Just my opinion.

From POP i would’t have released any of the ones who have ....not even “Neverending Love” which is not very Roxette to me..but anyway it was a hit in Sweden so it ended up as a nice first start.... “So far Away” should have deserved a single release as it’s the big ballad on the album.

Look Sharp: all the 4 singles did very well because that was in the period when people saw Roxette as something brand new and fresh so the sucess was really obvious to me... i still would have relased “Pain” as well.

Joyride: Once again another good selection of singles and “Spending My Time” was really a victim of bad luck in USA i agree with Per this one could have been one the biggest hits there but thank God it’s one of their biggest ever as radio plays this one so often till today...
I would have released “Hotblooded” or “Things will never be the same” instead of any of 2 of the 4 relased from this album but it would’t mean a difference the album was very sucessful...
The lack of solidness in the USA recod company failed to made “Spendig My Time” a big hit if not a 5th Num. 1 ...after that Roxette started to decline there but not anywhere else...:)

Tourism: The 2 first singles were perfect selections I love “Queen Of Rain” but i think “The rain” could have been a hit as well and “Keep me waiting”. “Fingertips” is a nice song but not for a single i believe...

C!B!B!: The 3 first singles are very well chosen and despite some of you the ballad CBB is one the their best ones... I also think that “Vulnerable” is a great love song so personally it was fit for a single i wouldn’t have released Run to You as it’s a good album track but does not have a certain power to be a single although it’s one of the fans big favorites.

DBGTC: I love both “You don’t understand me” and “June Afternoon” and i would have only relased these 2. However i love all 4 new tracks...

Have a nice day: “Wish I could fly” followed up by “Crush On you”. Nothing against “Anyone” and although i love “Stars” it’s really a non very Roxettish typical track so i would have kept it out...
“Salvation” is also a very good single...btw this one or “Anyone” any could be relased after “Crush On you”. 3 singles would be perfect...unless Roxette i decided to the last minute to release “7twenty7” but in a complete diferent version in early 2001...more like the demo that’s for sure...

Room Service: TCOTH perfect! Still love this one and i can’t get enough of it...typically Roxette especially the chorus... I prefer “Fool” to “Real Sugar” but this last one was also to me a good single choice... the chart sucess isn’t that much important to me as long as it has airplay on the radio it’s fine...
“Milk and toast and Honey” as a second single followed up by “Fool” and finalized with “My World My Love My life”.

A Thing About You: ANOTHER PERFECT SONG!!!!! ANOTHER GREAT SINGLE RELEASE!!!!

Anyway, try to respect other people’s opinion and don’t be ’deaf’ ;)
I still think that “Vulnerable” is better than “CCB” and no swearing-word from you will change my mind.

It’s true, “Vulnerable” reminds me also “Senza una donna” but Per’s one is much better. Maybe that’s the reason I like also Zucchero’s one

Yes, “So far away” is the big ballad from POP and “Neverending love” the worst song.
I also think that “Run to you” was not a good single, it’s a nice song but... I prefer other ones, maybe for the last single... I prefer “CBB”
In the DBU-GTTC I think the 3 singles were perfect, I really love “SDLHA” as well as “JA”, difficult to determine wich song is better.

Talking about Zucchero... He went to my hometown to a 3-day festival, and realising I’ve never been in a Roxette concert was the nearest thing to be in a concert releted to Roxette.

I also went to a session of Chumi DJ, but he doesn’t play “Come back before you leave”

If Almighty was preparing remixes on “Crush on you” was because they expected it to be released after “Salvation” but...

Don’t worry, we will see “Crush on you (Almighty remix)” in the Power peas compilation. I DO hope!!!

There were many songs in Joyride better than “Curch of your heart”... i.e. “Hotblooded”, “Knockin’ on every door”, “Things will never be the same”...
You were lucky to se “COYH” as a single

C!B!B! - i love c!b!b! but would put i’m sorry instead
DBU-GTTC - good but would choose SDLHA as a second and JA - i would release it later, not in JANUARY or FEBRUARY ( i don’t remember)
HAND - wonderful songs; definitely i would give out 6 singles with songs that most of you, i suppose wouldn’t agree:
1st - WICF
2nd - YUOCAN’TPUTYOURARMSAROUNDWHAT’SALREADYGONE
3rd - CRUSH ON YOU
4rd - SALVATION but with another video (with snow, candlesa and all that stuff - though i am an atheist i like the climate of X-MAS
5th - IT WILL TAKE A LONG LONG TIME (with a sprong-video)
6th - STARS but without almighty remix, good but it spoiled rox’ reputation a lot as people considered it to be a crapy disco track)
as for room service, mhmmmm
1st - TCOTH (but -there’salways some but- with more guitars for it also badly affected their reputation) or if no guitars then - FOOL
2nd - MILK AND TOAST AND HONEY (maybe another spring video) 3rd MAKE MY HEAD GO POP and 4rd MY WORLD MY LOVE MY LIFE

I’ve not seen “Salvation” video, as far as I know it was not released here in Spain due to “Quisiera volar (WICF in Spanish)”, but would have been great a X-mas video with snow and candles.
I also wished “MWMLML” and “Make my head go pop” would have been released as singles.

@alfonsette it’s good video, but does not siut this song. definitely. it was shot in june or july on the italian shore, also in Rome i think. so you can imagine how badly it suited.
YCPYAAWAG and IWTALLT - i’veput them cause i like them,that’s the only reason. i suppose all of us think about the same when the make up their own release-list.

I agree with @kiwijazza in that they should have released “Try”.
I think it’s kind of different from what they usually do, it’s soul music. So, just for people not to think they can just do ballads and techno music (a lot of people still thinks of Roxette as “The ones of Stars”), it would have been very positive.
I like it :D
