OT: Bon Jovi 'Everyday" (the video)

French music channel MCM just premiered the video for ’Everyday’ from Bon Jovi. I really like this song, the video is quite good, I like the scenes and the colours, however, there is one thing I found quite ridiculous. If you look at the video, probably the first thing that catches your eyes is that Jon’s teeth have been turned whiter digitally. I mean, they are so unrealistic, pathetic and in a way, very funny. He wants to look as a teenager at the age of 40 or something.

i saw the video a long time ago in Belgium!!
i also think his theeth are to white, but when you see the guy in real person,he isn’t that beautiful as on tv.so maybe his theeths are also not real...

God, I’m commenting on an OT thread....

But, since I just saw Bon Jovi perform in Times Square, and since I’ve seen the video.... and the mini-documentary about the making of the video... I thought I’d say that the thing about his teeth being whitened was a special effect the director of the video wanted to do... and it’s SUPPOSED to be obvious.... it’s not supposed to just look like he’s got nice white teeth.

Talking about this video...

When I saw it I inmediately thought about “The Centre Of The Heart” video, because the idea is the same: a TV with images of the band appears in several places. In the Rox video it appears in rooms of a hotel, and in Bon Jovi’s video it appears in different countries of the world.

But I think that there’s been a little of plagiarism from Bon Jovi’s video director ;)

ugh christ bon jovi dont getme wrong I am from new jersey but please

*agrees with Lars* Of course, it’s intended to look akward and you don’t even need to watch the behind the scenes documentary to figure that out.

Well, they should’ve painted his teeth even whiter cuz it seems it wasn’t obvious enough...

Great song, very nice video! It’s on heavy rotation on Swedish ZTV. The teeth do look scary. Ha ha!
