...Funny thing is that the chorus is slower than the verses.
It’s a very relaxed track. Per sings the words to an accoustic gitar and there’s a little interlude with a piano playing (a bit like in M&T&H) after the second chorus.
By the way I think the chorus makes the song slower than Run to you.
The song reminded me a bit of Hooverphonic’s Mad Abou you. Don’t know if you know this song...

Marie’s voice in the chorus reminds me a bit of how she sounds in her solo song, “Mild Varm Var.” Aside from that, I’d say that this song barely qualifies as a ballad... it’s pretty, but you can actually dance to it, too... seriously! Per and Marie sing the chorus together, which is rare in Roxette songs these days... when was the last time we heard that, “From One Heart to Another,” perhaps?! I think this song will be a hit because it’s beautiful, but not too slow... fits really well into just about any format, I think. Wow, I’m totally impressed with this song... it’s very “textured,” if you know what I mean... the instruments almost pile up on each other as you get to the chorus, like a big crescendo... very classic Rox!

The melody in the verses sound almost the same as “It takes you no time to get here”.
I even think it’s a variation of that song with a different chorus... sorry :o
Well, anyway it’s a very nice song, and the lyrics are fantastic... that of “the radio is on but the sound is all gone” and “the TV is on but the colours are gone” sounds really imaginative and funny.

hm the song isn’t real slow... tempo like in run to you, maybe similar to i want you to know from twatg and a little bit to ITYNTTGH....
song is great, per on vocal, he sings it very well and i like it very much. there is acoustic guitar, but it’s well hidden and you cannot hear it clearly, there are strings parts too. marie appers in chorus, she sings so gently and her voice fits song perfectly. great melody, i cannot compare it to anything, sorry :). what else can i add??? they’ve done great work this time!
