When you play TCOTH backwards, there is a beautiful part in it.
Here you can listen to a 30-sec. snippet of “The Centre Of The Heart-Played Backwards”
It’s just fantastic in my opinion. It could be the beginning of a new Roxette song :-)

Remembers me of the experiments of The Stone Roses making songs out of their songs playing backwards :-S By the way, Per sounds like he’s singing in Finnish :-P

Coooooool!! Very interesting....Per should take some backwards-melodies from his own songs to create some new..hahaha......
Hopefully there are no stupid backwards messages on like “Per is dead...Per is dead...” like the BEATLES did with Paul is dead back in the 60’s....
Playing music backwards was a very interesting subject for me a long time ago.....

Try “im sorry” backwards..... it has really beautiful parts..

Wow, they really do sound great! Maybe that’s the hallmark of a great melody... it sounds as good in reverse as it does going forward! I especially like “TCOTH” backwards... better than any of the remixes (:

Hehe it’s funny to see which ideas people get when there are no news about Roxette... ;-)))!
Pascal said on September 2, 2002 18:33:
No, “Kix” backwards isn’t really attractive. There are only a few songs that have interesting parts when played backwards.
Pascal said on September 6, 2002 16:21:
Of course Kix is attractive but it’s not when played backwards.
HERE’S A SNIPPET FROM “I WANT YOU TO KNOW”-BACKWARDS:

I meant for me it’s attractive played backwards, you should say that for you isn’t attractive, other people may find it attractive.

it sounds like Per & Marie sing in a strange language...
not so bad, anyway.

Hey, they’re from Malmstedt! :)
Ferdan said on October 27, 2002 12:05:
I´m sorry has a piano recorded backwards..... so if you hear the song backwards you will listen a normal piano in the background sounds....
Pascal said on October 27, 2002 12:27:
Hmmm... I played the song backwards but couldn’t find a piano in the background.
Ferdan said on October 27, 2002 13:12:
I can’t upload anything right now :(
sorry... but do the next
Crop since min 1.03 (we fell in love...) until 1.20 (the chorus) and play that part..... you’ll listen to a strange instrument...... now play that part backwards and you´ll notice there’s a piano sounding normal.
Pascal said on October 27, 2002 13:31:
Yes, indeed, you’re right.
But it’s hard to hear it though.
You have excellent ears, Ferdan. Congratulations! :)
