Hey everyone,
I was on the Lambretta site:
www.lambrettamusic.com
and I went to the letters section. It was kinda cool how they mentioned Roxette. They seemed to idolize them in a way:
“Hi there,
As we´re writing this we´re on a train on our way back from Stockholm. Everybody´s really exhausted, but very happy. Yesterday we performed at the NRJ Radio Awards, in front of 6000 people and all the TV-viewers. Other artists performing were Infinite Mass, Ronan Keating, Westlife, Kylie Minogue and Andreas Johnsson, so it was a night to remember.
And as if that wasn´t enough - we won an award for “best song of the year”. When Roxette turned up as one of the nominees in the category we all thought that was it, but - they didn´t win, we did and it feels absolutely great.
These things give us a lot of energy and self confidence, which helps us keep up the hard work now that we´re starting to work and tour outside of Sweden.
At the moment we´re in the middle of our Swedish tour, but we´re going to Norway January 25th for a NRJ show, and then the week after that we´re in Finland (Helsinki) and Norway (Oslo) for live shows.
The first single “Bimbo” has so far sold gold in Sweden and Norway, so we feel very welcome already.
The tour has, so far, been a real success. Full houses and audiences singing along with the lyrics, it´s fantastic.
With the support we´re having at home in Sweden, it´s really good to start working internationally, and we´re damn eager!”
Too bad Roxette didn’t win. Lambretta’s cool too.

But which one was the song that won? I hope it was not “Creep” but “Bimbo”. Bimbo is great, but the other one is soooo boring....
