Such an easy question -

STARS - the most stupid and pathetic excuse for a song EVER. I won’t play it, the video is a pile of pants too - Marie looks aweful - like a 50 year old lesbian. HAND the album is good, but they tried way too hard.

MAKE MY HEAD GO POP - Even worse, such cheap euro pop that makes me cringe. Room Service is one of my favourite albums - but this song should have not been on it - it’s not even good enough to be a b-side. Entering Your Heart should have been on the album in it’s place.

Per considers these his 3 favourite Roxette songs: Stars, Milk and toast and honey and Vulnerable. I don’t like some of the words in Vulnerable though, says Per. The song would have improved a lot with better lyrics.

Not that kind of boring pop music. Listen to it a few times..you will like it..!! Not everyone is able to write such an incredible song. Of course no song for radio stations, MTV or such, but a song that goes inside..and is definiteley a MUSIC masterpiece..!! ((-:

I can’t honestly say that there are any Rox songs that I think just suck outright (as there are with some of my other favourite groups, like the Indigo Girls and Texas)... I’ve never been a big fan of “Vulnerable,” though. I absolutely LOVE “Stars” and “Make My Head Go Pop”... it’s great to see a band that doesn’t take itself too seriously and still has fun making music. More power (peas) to them!

i have the freedom to defend things....seeing as marie barely writes in english asit is this was a great effort...much better than little girl which i have learned was originally written during the hand sessions and was actually in the first batch of songs scrapped for that album...

I don’t like “Half a woman, half a shadow” and “View from a hill”. The other songs are all great, even if I can’t hear all of them at any time, it has always to do something with my mood, but these two songs I just mentioned I never ever heard since the first time again.

Definitely I do not like at all “Stars”, because it’s dance, and P&M had always said they were a pop-guitar band, that they didn’t like dance-music (and I hate dance music).

So...I find this one like a little act of treason...but I forgive them ;)

As much as I love Marie and Per, I would have to say that the songs I skip the most on my cd-player are:

almost the last half of Look Sharp!, i.e. Half A Woman, Half a Shadow, View From A Hill and Shadow of a Doubt. The first half of LS!, on the other hand, is pure magic.

From the Joyride album, it’s Church of Your Heart. I never understood how that was released as a single. Other than that, Joyride is a masterpiece.

Then on the Tourism album, there’s How Do You Do! (even Per and Marie say that it wasn’t one of their best moments) and Cinnamon Street. Sorry to those who like it but I can’t stand it at all.

On The C!B!B! album I disliked Harleys and Indians, Vulnerable and Love Is All. Nothing to add to that, it just isn’t my cup of tea. Vulnerable was just too mushy for me, same thing with Love Is All.

As for Have A Nice Day, I absolutely cannot stand Waiting For The Rain. I love Marie more than I do Per, but honestly, for a Marie song, it was soooo stinky. She was trying too hard to be like the Beatles. And I think Cooper is the worst song ever. Not just by Roxette, but ever. And I agree with the person who said that anyone who didn’t like Stars doesn’t like dance music– it’s very true. Stars is just heaven to dance to; but just the remixes, I absolutely hate the album version.

On the Room Service album I have to say that like the Make My Head Go Pop song until the part where they get all choir-like. I could have done without that.

But you know how it is– you can’t hit homers all the time. It’s okay to strike out once in a while.
