Today I received e-mail from some guy, Daniel Thompson, who is working for a local newspaper somewhere in Ireland and he is making Top 20 Roxette charts.
Did anyone get it as well? I don’t know how he got my e-mail, when as far as I can remember, the only site related with Roxette and has my address is TDR.

I’m sure TDR is not giving away e-mail addresses. MOst of us have our addresses in our profile. Also there are many other ways to find addresses of Roxette fans.

Got it as well! Sounds really similar to a poll we started here like last week ago. I am not worried about it though, him somehow getting my email address, I am a fan and am glad to help another fan...

My Name is Daniel Thompson and I am working for a Local Newspaper in a small town of Balbriggan, in Ireland. As a new Roxette Album is going to be published this year, I was asked to create the Top 20 Roxette Charts. Because of this, I started a poll. I startet to sent out 1000 Emails to Roxette Fans all around the World. I would like to ask you, to send me an email back please, with your favorite Top 20 Roxette Songs. Each mentioned Song will get points, the Song you placed as your personal Number one will get 20 Points, the 2nd one - 19 Points and so on... down to Song Number 20 with one point. From all your Votes I will make up the Roxette Fans Top 20 Songs. The Song with most points abviously is the Number one and so on... I NEED YOUR HELP TO CREATE THE ROXETTE TOP 20!!! Please reply to this email and send me your personal Top 20. I know it can be hard to decide what Song is going to be better than the other sometimes, the way I work it is, I give each song points between 1 and 1000. If I have two songs I like the same, I think of every detail of each song and decide, which song should get one more point... it is A LOT OF FUN and you apreciate Roxette Songs even more! ;-)

please, I need all your help! I want to be able to share this in the Newspaper. A lot of times, when an Article in our local newspaper is a success and we get a good response, the big Irish Paper (Irish Times...) request an article of us... if that is all going to work out... it could help Roxette to get noticed here again!
