Yeah, the Norwegians boys are coming here!

The following news were copied from A-ha’s web site:

“Brazil 2002

The second leg of the 2002 tour starts this week in Brazil. When a-ha enters the stage at the Credicard Hall in São Paulo on Wednesday, August 14, it will have been 11 years since a-ha performed live for their Brazilian followers.
The capacity of the concert venues in Brazil for the 2002 tour is between 10-15.000, apart from the arena in Barretos, which has the capacity to accommodate 30.000 spectators. Brazilian fans will see the same show as in Europe in June, and Anneli Drecker, who was replaced by May Kristin Kaspersen for the concerts in Moscow and Minsk, will again do the backing vocals.

-ha visited Brazil for the first time in March 1989, with two concerts in Rio de Janeiro and three concerts in São Paulo. The band caused quite a stir on the international scene during the Rock in Rio II Festival in January 1991: a-ha broke all records when they gathered more than 150.000 fans at the Maracanã stadium, one of the largest football arenas in the world. In May and June the same year, the band toured South America, with concerts in Chile and Argentina, and had as many as 14 concerts covering most of the Brazilian territory. Now, 11 years later, Morten, Paul and Magne are again ready to meet their Brazilian audience.

Dates and venues in Brazil, August 2002:

August 14: Credicard Hall in São Paulo
August 15: Credicard Hall in São Paulo
August 16: ATL Hall in Rio de Janeiro
August 17: Rodeio de Barretos, Barretos
August 20: Gigantinho Ginasium in Porto Alegre

The fervent fan trio JPJ, being Judith Heinrich, Petra Meier and Judith Fasler, have followed a-ha on tour since 1987, and attended more then 70 concerts all around the world. a-ha.com published their reports from the first leg of the 2002 tour in Europe in June. Judith, Petra and Judith are already in Brazil, and will attend the concerts in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Barretos. We look forward to receiving their reports.”

Welcome back, boys!

A-ha moved on...

Oh Per and Marie! Please! When you will come to SA again? If Faustão (Famous Sunday TV host)threat you bad one more time, we’ll fry him! He has fat enough to that, I guess...
