Has everyone got these now? I KEEP sending email to the fanclub but they don’t reply - and have not sent my order :(
Can anyone offer any advice?

I really wonder why you guys keep on ordering from the fan club after reading all the disappointed comments and stories from ppl who have ordered an item and got it very very late of didn’t get it at all.
I suggest you order from Skivhugget - http://www.skivhugget.com - directly from Sweden. They have everything the fanclub has (besides some memoribilia items, of cours, such as T-shirts and stuff), they are cheaper and brilliantly fast. They are professionals.
BTW Ronald from the FC is in fact really helpful.

You know, I often read these posts concerning the FC shop and I can’t understand it...
In over 4 years I have been ordering from them, I have only had two issues with the goods...
#1 - Faulty video
#2 - Damaged record (postal related)
In both cases, they responded and acted quickly to replace the items.

It’s sad but they only reply when you complain in this forum. Their customer service sucks but they don’t like the bad advertisement either.
Anyway, I’m still waiting for them to answer why they never gave me back the money I paid for an item they never sent.

Whenever there are complaints about the fanclub here, they usually strike back with a reply “we have our own lives, too”.
That’s absolutely okay. I know personally how hard it is to be involved in something else when you have a full time job. So I completely understand all the OIRFC people in charge that they have very little time to handle everything that’s in connection with the fanclub and the fanshop.
BUT. If this is so, why do they maintain a fanshop? Why don’t they let professionals do it? Like the store I mentioned in my comment above. They have people whose job is to sell the items. They work for the store, this is why they get their salaries. If someone doesn’t have time to do something, then don’t do it. I mean, I don’t care if they keep their news website down 9 months out of 12 in a year, that’s their own business. (It only describes their mentality and attitude to serve Roxette fans.) However, when it comes to money, it’s a completely different case. If someone doesn’t like roxettenews.com (or roxette.nl) being shut down for ages, well, that person can go and make a better website. But if they are running a service for which they accept money, it is a must that they handle all matters with maximum care and and as soon as possible. Not ’whenever they have some free time’. It’s some sort of job for them, and they are dealing with money. Not their money, other people’s money.
It’s the same thing with memberships and reviews. I’d better not comment how they are handling those.
The worst thing is that there are TONS of complaints about both the fanshop and the fanclub as well. And they never seem to be helpful. I’m not running a fanshop myself cause I know I wouldn’t have time to do that properly. So why are they? It’s been proven all so many times that the fanshop is full of problems and the fanclub guys are not capable of running a decent service. So why the hell are they still accepting orders? (For the income, I suppose.)
Having their site “under construction” for awfully long periods (remember, roxette.nl used to be down for more than a year, and roxettenews.com is closed for months now) is, as I said before, describes perfectly how they treat Roxette fans. I don’t think they deserve to be called THE fanclub. Look at some other fan clubs, for example, the Official Bon Jovi Fan Club - they do WAY more for their fans! But the Official International Roxette Fanclub doesn’t do a thing for us. (I wanted to launch the Hungarian branch of the OIRFC some time ago, however, it could have only been possible if we all pay a membership fee to those in the Netherland. Paying money to individuals just to use the word ’official’. No thanks.)
But still, they are THE Official Fanclub. And they seem to be happy. Happy with the backstage tickets they got for the Room Service Tour shows, somethig that was impossible for plain Rox-fans. Good job, guys.

Well...I agree that on the subject of bringing news and printed reviews they seem to do almost nothing...BUT I never had any problems with ordering stuff at the fanshop...I got IWBYB a few days after official release, and only once received something that was damaged, but those were only some broken jewl-cases in Kompakta Tider...the rest goed perfect...

I have sent 5 emails in total and there is never a reply.
I will have to instruct my Credit Card company that this is fraud.

Maybe we should start at least... an email campaign to EMI.... to keep them really informed of what’s been happening with this stupid fan club.
