Roxette.com has been registered by BuildIT Registry in Malmö (Sweden).

Maybe a new official Roxette site will be created in order to promote the 2 new upcoming albums and singles.

Roxette.com sounds better than Roxette.se.

What do you think?

As far as I know, this domain is already registered for a long time, and NOT by roxette, because otherwise they would have redirected you to roxette.se if you visited roxette.com
I think roxette.se sounds much better, because roxette is from Sweden and they are proud of it!

Indeed, the domain has been registered for a long time but that was by someone from somewhere in South-America I think, who has nothing to do with Roxette. But maybe BuildIT has registered the name for Roxette. You never know.

But on the other hand, the domain owner of Roxette.se is Roxette Recordings AB and that’s not the case with Roxette.com. That domain is owned by BuildIT.

I think we’ll have to wait and see... if something will happen of course...

No... we DON’T have to wait and see. This domain was and continues to be held by a squatter, who had hoped to sell it to Roxette & Company and make a profit. However, they decided LONG ago not to pay the ransom... and not to even bother taking it to court.

No one knows for certain how long the registration’s for (or is it possible to find that out?), and either the registration will expire, or the individual will realise that they ain’t gonna get anything out of it and just let it go.
