Basically their last single that became successful all over the world was “Cruel Summer” released in summer 1998. 4 years without any important hits are a long time...

...the charm of Marie Fredriksson (only if you put a paper bag over Marie’s head, then dropped her into a rubbish tip and then covered it in horse excrement)...
I think you get the message. Ace of Base (what a crap name) are not one of my favourite bands...but that’s not to say that noone else can like them - it’s a personal thing.
