per should ask songs from max martin, rami

I do believe that if per gessle makes a collaboration with max martin, andreas carlsson, or Rami, the new roxette sound for the new album should sound perfect. Per has to realise that his songwriting skills is getting worse! One thing i don’t understand is that if per did a song for other artists, it sounds great but when per himself wrote songs for roxette, the magic touch seems to fade away.

who said that max-martin doesn’t know how to play those guitars?...he has wrote it’s my life by BON JOVI, and recently the band called GARBAGE, will be doing songs for their upcoming album. Also, he has written songs for Micheal Bolton’s latest album. As far as i can see, Max Martin songwriting skills is far more better than some of hem in the States or UK. In Malaysia, Max Martin has been a household name. I also suggests Roxette to collaborate songs with the jimmy fun music team writers who has been giving lots of good songs to Abba teens, Titiyo, A Camp, Carola, Blue, Natural, Sita. I wonder why Per never gets help from the jimmy fun music coz we all know that he’s part of the record company-?..hhmmm...?

per is a lone wolf about writing songs, he said that he didnt like it to write with desmond child, he likes more write on his own.
and i think he do a great job, if on the top of the charts or not, hes the best.

Hell no, I love the Roxette sound, it’s so typical Roxette, thanks to Per AND Marie. I don’t think there has been a song of Roxette written by another one, other than Per or Marie. I mean original by Roxette, we all know the covers they did (e.g. from the Beatles, Blondie).

but also Celine Dion went to him, her song “That’s the way it is” was written by him. But you can hear it, he has, like every songwriter, his own style, but you listen to a song of him and you know that’s him.
Well, you also know it, when Per writes a song, but it’s more special, it’s not so commercial.
You can say: Max Martin = comerce!

I think that Max Martin’s songwriting skills go worse as well. I guess the songs which we were released in 1999 and 2000 were more special and successful than the ones in 2001...
I doubt that it would be got idea to collaborate with Martin, since I don’t want Roxette to sound like Britney’s radio-dance-pop. I want the guitars back and so far the Martin-stuff was never dominated by guitars. Per should ask Desmond Child to write some songs together again.
