1 and 1 makes 3!!
Jackeill said on June 28, 2002 18:46:
hmmm i’ve got mathematical evidence, look at this carefully:
1 - 3 = 4 - 6
right ? then i’ll add to the both sides 9/4 so:
1 - 3 + 9/4 = 4 - 6 + 9/4
right ? every child know that a² - 2ab + b² = (a -b)² so we have
(1 - 3/2)² = (2 - 3/2)²
and it makes that
1 - 3/2 = 2 - 3/2
and now i’m adding 3/2 so
1=2 !
and now you can simply add 1 + 1 and i makes 3, even 4! :)
per is genius in mathematics :P just like me :)

STOP IT, Please!!!!!!!!¨
(bad memories from my mathical exams one year ago)

@lonely_girl: I AGREE!!! PLEASE!!! stop the madness!!!
just got rid of maths (for the second time!!) and now you’re bringing it all back!!
THIS HAS TO STOP!!! hehehe! ;)

i love maths :) it’s my favourite :) i’m the best in the class :P

I love challangers in maths - unfortunately
it hasn’t pouring in my class. But if don’t remember wrong did Per have 1 (=the worst, 5 was best) in mathsgrade.
C’ ya!

ferdan–sometimes
mom + dad =6 children— that makes 8!! :P
sorry Jackeill ,but you go wrong from the begining;-)))
the theory of big numeral;-)))))
1 - 5= 16- 20
right ? then i’ll add to the both sides 25/4 so:
1 - 5+ 25/4 = 16- 20+ 25/4
right ? every child know that a² - 2ab + b² = (a -b)² so we have
(1 - 5/2)² = (4- 5/2)²
and it makes that
1 - 5/2 = 4 - 5/2
and now i’m adding 5/2 so
1=4 !
and now you can simply add 1 + 1 and i makes 8
Who is genius in mathematics :P

ferdan incase you didn’t get it, it was a silly joke from my school days where (1+1 = a window) just split the = sign and put one line above the 1+1 and the other line below and it looks like a window ;-)
I said it was silly but then I was only about 10 at the time :-)
AntiMario said on June 29, 2002 05:19:
Jackeil, roxchurch, you seem to learn maths great but missed smth :)
(1 - 3/2) = (2 - 3/2)
and it makes that
1 - 3/2 = 2 - 3/2
It’s wrong. The conclusion from this should be like this. He-he.
2-3/2 = |1-3/2| or even |2-3/2|=|1-3/2|
