Some of you know this song for sure, it is in the album ’The Great Subconscious Club’ ... well, have you read the lyrics ??
*** I Wanna Meet the Man ***
I’ve been thinking all night about this song
The music’s okay but I can’t find words to say
I could sing that I’m a Virgin and show my tits
Decree how sex improves the world
In which masturbation is the thing of the day
’I’m afraid I haven’t got that much to say’
(it is okay here, but what about the following lines: )
* I THOUGHT ABOUT ’HELLO, FOOL, I LOVE YOU’
OR REPEAT A HUNDRED TIMES ’HOW DO YOU DO’ *
(....)
Doesn’t it remind you of something??... Uhmm, the album was out in 1993, after both Joyride & How Do You Do. Do you think it has something to do with Roxette? Some kind of irony? or maybe not?...
Don’t get me wrong, I love so much K’s choice and it is one of my favourite bands for long... now I’ve just read the lyrics and noticed that.
(I know... maybe you had this discussion before, but, I’m quite new here, so, please, be patient, OK? ;)

I just ’discovered’ K’s Choice a few weeks ago when they opened for one of my favourite bands (Indigo Girls) in Toronto... so I am *very* intrigued by this song! I just bought “Cocoon Crash” and think it’s wonderful...

Yes, me too! I was told that K’s choice are great band long ago (and probably I’ll like them), but I couldn’t find any album here... Now, just before few days I get the mp3s. I’ve only listened to 2 albums - The Great Subcounscious Club & The Paradise In Me so far, they are great! And not just liked them, I fell in love!

Yeah, and later on:
“I wanna meet the man who wrote these lyrics (he must be great)
I wanna meet the man who wrote these songs”.
She justs wants to meet “mighty mister Gessle” :-)
And she’s right that he’s great ;-)
Bye,
MC
