Live-ism DVD?

Hej peeps,
Has anyone heard of Live-ism being officially released on DVD? Could I have missed that? Well, there’s a guys on eBay selling them. According to his description, it’s an official Brazilian release. This guy has a user rating of nearly 1200, so I don’t think it’s a scam. Anyone know anything about it?

The DVD offered on dvdbrazil.com has probably better picture than the VHS tape, the only format I can buy in stores. Also the VHS tape has only stereo sound, while the DVD features Dolby Digital 5.1

First -this DVD is an OFFICIAL RELEASE - I asked EMI Russia before placed order on EBay, they contacted headofiice and answered me in a week that it was a true official release!
Second - that fake copies you made from VHS are fake of course, coz VHS sux! Laser disk has much better quality then VHS (even better then DVD ans S-VHS) - coz it’s just an uncompressed analogue video and audio streams on it. - So this copy is in real DVD quality (it must have been, coz I made for myself Live-ISM and Sweden Live DVDs from LDs and they are perfect - nothing compared with sux VHS)
Last - that LDs were not limited. 10000 copies isn’t limited! And not only asian - I made Live-ISM from Sweden release for example - no japanise subtitles in it. So just please respect brasilian guys who make great work and don’t say what you don’t know!

I don’t have the laserdisc and I don’t think I can get that one so I went to buy the DVD instead.

He told everyone that he has tons and tons and tons of rare rare rare videos that he’s gonna upload to his very own supercool website. However, we only got a cool flash intro (that, however, keeps looping all the time so ya can’t get to the content of the site unless you stop the animation) and a nice collection of non-working and dead links.
Now THAT’S fake!

So I think that there were three releases coz I don’t beleive that a US release can be PAL

If someone has already baught that Brasilian DVD plz contact me - I want a screenshot from one moment of a DVD (need to compare if I had a problem with LD or my rip, or it’s normal for Live-ISM show) Thanx.

Yes, Live-Ism was released in 3 different LDs - European (PAL - the only PAL Roxette LD), Japanese (NTSC) and US (NTSC). They all have (slightly) different sleeves. I own the two first at least.

1st - The DVD IS a official release - but not by EMI.
A Magazine called DVD World bought the copyright of LiveISM from EMI and released it on DVD.
2st - This DVD can be found here in Brazil on stores for R$19 (that’s something around US$7), so DVDBrazil is ripping on everyone since they’re selling almost 3x expensiver ;P
3st - The Image quality isn’t that good, perhaps just a little better than the VHS, but at least the 5.1 Audio is way better than the VHS.

I have the Laserdisc of Live-ism that I bought years ago, its a Japanese import. But I’ve never even seen the Laserdisc version, only on VHS. I thought I would one day buy a laserdisc player and never did.

In those cases, a DVD-Rom drives comes in handy ;¬)

Wanna to explain you about DVDs...
Region-free means it has Region 0 DVD zone and can be SEEN as disk at all (US, European, Asian, Russian & space station ;)) DVD drives.
The fact it is NTSC or PAL or SECAM means nothing for your PC - coz it only means if it will be 704 x 528 (NTSC) or 704 x 576 (PAL) resolution.
Computer will make it cool in any country!
DVD player (not a PC device) must support of course a standart for a real resolution (so that you won’t have each frame resized) - so if you use PC for DVD video - just don’t pay attention on PAL or NTSC words. If you use DVD-Player - then read instructions!

if you rember i had a disgareement with you over the fact that at one time you were offering offfical released material on your site which was still available in stores....or did you forget. My collection will be shared whne i have the time.
