I’ve downloaded Oiche Chium (translation: Silent Night) and I think it’s amazing, anyone know any other amazingly great Enya songs
Haha, I can understand the Irish (Gaeilge/gaelic) songs as I’m Irish... if anyone wants any translations (if not already available) I’ll be happy to do it!

I don’t know which album you should buy, it depends on what kind of Enya you like :)
BTW, I have never heard of that song called Oiche Chium.. at least I can’t remember.. strange.

I have 4 Enya albums: “Watermark”, “Shepherd Moons”, “The Celts” and “The Memory Of Trees”.
Actually, all songs from Enya are fantastic but these are really really wonderful:

Oiche Chiuin is on the Only Time single. And it’s the boring Christmas song...I would have bought the single but I can’t stand that tune!

Lothlorien (instumental- this is not from Lord Of The Rings soundtrack)

ON MY WAY HOME (a masterpiece)
My favorite album would be The Memory Of Trees (1995), but runner-ups are Watermark (1988) and Shepherd Moons (1991)
The compilation Paint the sky with stars (the best of) doesn’t includes some hits which (in my opinion)should be on it, and it contains some songs that have never been hits. However this CD gives you a nice view and profile of Enya’s work.

By the way, the song Oiche Chiuin (Silent Night) was previously released in 1988 as a b-side of the single “Evening Falls”. It was later released on some other singles like “Only Time”. If you have some other questions just ask! :-)))
