I'm Back!

Hello there everybody! I’ve been having a very rough time the past few weeks. My life has taken a tragic change, but I’m back on track and back in control! So, I’m just saying hi!
Roxette SA (www.roxette.co.za) has had a small face lift recently, and for those interested in where I live, take a look at my latest website: www.avuxeni-group.co.za . I work for this group of hotels, and I did the design of some of the logos and layouts! Let me know what you think!
And to Carbonboy, don’t you dare to make any bad remarks on what I have to say here. I believe that we all have a right to chat on this site, and that we can say whatever we want!
purplemedusa said on May 9, 2002 09:00:
First of all www.roxette.co.za is a pathetic site. It has no relavant content, news consists out of phallisies (fuck the spelling this morning!!) and rumors, no/poor design style, and generally a waste of bandwith. One would expect a site with the adress www.roxette.co.za would be of some significance to the South African Roxette fan. The fact IS, it’s NOT! Get with the program, go and do sufficient homework before you set up such a site. The web is far to crowded with shit. If you want hits, re-think the purpose of the site and in the same breath get some formal training in regard to web-design.
Secondly, as you’ve said, every one has the right to chat on www2.dailyroxette.com, and thus you have to respect carbonboy’s opinions to! He might just tell you a thing or two regarding web-designing and maintaining.
.. and what are you gonna do to carbonboy if he does not obey your orders? Whatever it is, you’ll have to do it to the both of us. That’s my Man you are talking about... and purplemedusa does not take any shit from pip-scweeks!
WAH!
egmond said on May 13, 2002 17:26:
As we both said, I can do what I want, and if you don’t like the site, don’t go there. What am I gonna do? Only childish crybabies like you do something!! So it’s settled then, you don’t like the site, good for you. You don’t like me chatting here, good for you. I don’t like your attitude, good for me. Then we don’t have to be rude any longer, and live and let live.

egmond, just ignore PINKUSA, I mean who cares what he has to say. Some people like to complain because there is nothing really going on in their life...be happy you created the site, it’s something productive and at the end, that’s what counts!

so, i took my guitar and smashed it against the wall, i smashed it against the floor, i smashed it against the body of a varsity cheerleader. smashed it against the hood of a car. smashed it against a 1981 harley davidson - the harley howled in pain, the guitar howled in hate........and i ran into egmond’s bedroom. egmond was sleeping in the moonlight. creeping in the shadows right up to the foot of his bed, I raised the guitar high above my head and just as I was about to bring the guitar crashing down upon the center of the bed
egmond woke up, screaming “STOP!”
“Wait a minute. Stop it carbon_boy! What do you think your doing? Thats no way to treat an expensive musical instrument!”
And I said, “God Damn It Egmond,”
“You know you’re jackass, but you’ve got a hell of a lot to learn about Rock n’ Roll!!!!”
PS: And webdesign as well. Muwaaaaaah!
PPS: Lotsa love to her majesty, Purple Medusa.

BTW, checking out your “FABULOUS” erm website, I noitced the section SA Unique.
Hmmmm..... dyou know that LookSharp! was already available on CD format in 1989/90? Apparently not, seeing that you state it was only available in cd format from 1994/5 - what the fuck?! You are talking bout the 2nd edition of the cd - released ruffly at that time. The original release has a REAL red sticker on the front and the cd is (as u mention on the site) black with silver writing.
Same story with the original print of Tourism and the reprint. The original has the continued picture for the sides with a black/orange cd, whereas the reprint has black/ornage sides and a white/yellow cd.
Oh, and you forgot to include Sleeping in my car (which was imported in2 South Africa as the OFFICIAL release) and the Crash!Boom!Bang! cd singles.
This makes me think - u havent been a roxette fan for long, right? Considering the fact that you dont have the above mentioned rox cd’s or know about them.
BTW, the redesign of rox.coza is even worse - are you still in kindergarten? That would explain a lot.
Hope that wasnt too painful - just wanna help.

egmond; the issue here is not one of freedom of speech... you should rather see the critisim as constuctive - analyze it... and upgrade the site (selfknowledge and yourself) ... and another thing, phallisies such as “crybabies” will get you into trouble in the grown-up world - when you argue try and substanciate your claims rather than attacking(introduction to arguments and critical thinking I).
sweet_stalker57; the south african flag refers to our unoffical national flower - the very colorful and exsquisite plastic bags found in our beautiful landscapes, gardens, and water supplies. Long live the plasic bag!!
StillFar; it is PURPLEMEDUSA - refering to the color “purple” and the mythological figure “medusa” (and please note she is female of sex!!!) NOT, pinkusa. HA! And I do infact have a life - but nice of you to note it, nontheless.
Pietrox; if there is anybody that’s being constructive within the Roxette community, it is YOU! Thank you for all the effort you put in. Much appriciated! BTW. do you know if any Strul performances exists?
Carbonboy; meet outside for a quicky!!! (Kisses)
PS. I am aware of my bad spelling errors.

Thanks, thanks :-D
There are a couple of Gyllene Tider videos on RoxBytes (although you might have to try to start downloading a few times - and please download only one video at one time). That section will be updated very soon. In case you wanna be notified about the updates, send an e-mail to [email protected] with the word “subscribe”... But that’s all about self advertising, I’m not that kind, LOL.
About Strul performances... oh well, I don’t think there are any...
Cheers,
Pietro

well, actually not for the first time. watch Fingertips (again)! Nothing but just trying to help you making your site better... and... hmm... why i have to say it? does it really matter? never mind.
and BTW thanks for uploading the translations of the Spanish versions of WICF & Anyone! Can you put on your site the Salvation’s one, too?
well done discography section! (I’ve seen better, but this is quite good)
sweet_stalker57 said on May 16, 2002 02:25:
ah! thanks. :)
now do one of you “webmasters” have a pic of this
flower for me?
egmond said on May 16, 2002 09:33:
Okey. You win. Tell me what you want in the Rox website, what you want out, what you want in, etc, etc, etc, and I’ll do it - not for the sake of making you happy, but for the sake of taking critisism and using it to the better. You want to be associated with the website, then I’ll be glad to help! But tell me what you want, because, as you say, it’s for all the Rox fans of SA, and I’d like to keep it that way.
sweet_stalker57 said on May 8, 2002 21:09:
is there a story behind the SA flag?
very interesting colour choices.
you must tell me. :)
