I wonder why Roxette fans don’t pay enough attention to one of the best songs of Roxette :
I mean “PAINT”.
I really love this song.It is in my top 20.
Especially, there is a part in this song which is unique:
This part is between 02:16 to 02:31 minutes of the song.(Look Sharp! version)
In this part you can hear Marie’s unique voice in its best mood.Music is low and Marie sings
with complete sense.
Every time I listen to Paint ,when this part begins,I can’t stop myself to close my eyes and listen
to this magical voice with all capacity of my ears.
What a voice !!!!!
Go and listen to this part carefully and with closed eyes!!
I think you will have the same feelings as I have.

I’d say Look Sharp! - the whole album - is very underrated...It has sooo many fantastic tracks - like Paint, Cry (sweet!) or the 3 completely forgotten ones: View From A Hill, I Could Never Give You Up and Shadow Of A Doubt.

Oh no, no, no... Paint is no way near being worthy of being in the top 3 Roxette songs of all time...
It’s my #47 (which is alright, considering I’ve listened to over 100 Rox songs)
I’d adice everyone to make a chart of their entire Roxette collection (it doesn’t take too long... took me just under an hour... do it on the weekend)
I’ll post the entire list later (probably, if I’m not too busy... I’ll definatly post it soon... maybe Saturday)

“Paint” is a really great song! I like the lyrics with Per‘s vocals. It sounds so clear. And the chorus sung by Marie, just so nice!!!
“Paint” should have been another single from Look Sharp! It´s one of the best, besides “the look”, “Dangerous” and “Listen to your heart”!!!

Those 16 seconds are my favourite part of the song, It touched my heart from the fisrt time Yashar... The song is great, Marie’s voice is wonderful... totally agree with you... :)

Marie´s voice kicks best when you hear her fantastic voice LIVE on stage! Every time i do this, i get a goose flesh ... i think she´s the best live performer i ever heared and saw!
But you should not forget Per´s Voice ... think about “Cooper” ... ;););)
