NEW AND BOLD PROJECT! (?)

[Warning: This post is long – but, please, read.]
Well…I hope I don’t look as if I was dreaming too high, but…well, there it goes. ..Fanism was some idea. That’s unanimous. I didn’t listen to the songs yet, for lack of time. Fanism worked to show that all Roxette fans know enough to play and sing as them, following their same basic standards. So, that means we all have at least, a good idea of what and how Per and Marie created all so far…doesn’t it?
What am I trying to mean with all that…hmmm; in the last year, I saw a very interesting topic here. It was something about being Per Gessle for a day, of feeling like Per Gessle. A song called ‘Since you’re gone’ was created. And it sounded (or seemed, hehehe) good! It needed some more work as every song from every good composer does, but that’s the job, man. If that song didn’t sound as a Roxette one, it would be rejected. But it was accepted, what means that the composer (and all the others who posted comments – positive or not) know enough about Rox style. And means, that other people here can also compose songs.
The point is: WHY DON’T WE CREATE OUR OWN ALBUM WHILE THE NEW ONE ISN’T RELEASED?! What? Didn’t you never watch to Muppet Babies? (hehe) Did you forget what happened every time the TV broke? Yeah, they imagined their own stories. Here, we see a lot of people conjecturing about how should Per and Marie look, what should be the new album name, the CD cover, their dressing style…but in the music field it is quite different. We all know what we want and expect from them. And… we also wonder about it. Why couldn’t we put that in way?
You who live in Europe, or close to fairer importers have more access to their unreleased or rare material. So, I guess that those ones, up to be composers in this proposal and who live in this places are much more able to it…you have a more, huh, close intimacy, throughout the years, with Roxette/Per/Marie’s works (as band and solo).
Of course it would be a long and developed work. I don’t have conditions to support it in a proper way. So, I’m looking for developers to host the idea. A web site, dedicated to the idea, or anyone who could share a space where the candidates would post their songs. You know, I’m giving one brick, if others want to help raising the wall, it will happen faster and easier.
These songs would be initially, in a demo format. And that means simple – a keyboard-based to those ones mastered on it, or a two or three guitars/bass-based song. You know, simple as any demo. A sketch, but…a little bit more elaborated of course. If proper conditions appear, these demos can become finished songs. Then, we will need a small studio. There are some members here who once mentioned that have one, don’t them? Well, this is just the technique part.
We could create a limit date for the songs being posted. Then, we could divide them in groups, and put their links here in TDR. Everybody could vote on it (or maybe, create a poll system in the web site). But, before, we should deliberate how many uptempo, rocky, ballads, mid uptempo/ballads and danceable songs should exist in the album, and of course the number of tracks (I guess that everybody will want more than 13…). So, we should select the styles and how many songs could be placed on each one of them.
And the performers – well, that’s the last part…we have bands who already appeared as plenty able to do it…but that’s not important now. I thought in a name for the band…something like Dèja Vu…but it seems like if I saw this name already for a bad.
Well, these are just the last parts to be cared. The real deal is…LET’S DO IT, PEOPLE! If Fanism was possible, this is also. Let’s stop complaining how Roxette should sound like and, let’s do it!! You know you have talent enough for that…so, stop sharing it with your drawer and share with us!! Let us all do it!! Years ago, that would be impossible, ‘cause there wasn’t Internet. But now, there is…we can easily communicate and complete each level of this project in the comfort of our homes (in my case, job office…). So, what you say?? (**warm answers, please – and questions, questions, doubts and questions to be answered ‘till we get to a statement…**)
