**Choose the less lovely album of Roxette!**

We always talk about the best song,the best album ,the best....
Let’s talk about one worst thing.
Of course, there is no worst thing about Roxette.Roxette is always good and
we love everything about them.
So I can change my word to “LESS LOVELY”.
The question is:
Which album of Roxette do you like less than the others?
I think there are 3 albums that can be chosen:
1-Dance Passion
2-Rarities
3-Baladas En Espanol
****I must explain that,although there are great songs in BEL,but these songs are
originally composed for another albums.****
I choose Dance Passion.

- Tourism

Out of these seven, it’d be Tourism.

well, people, I am surprised with what you say about Tourism... after some year break I started listening to it through my headphones before going to sleep and it dawned on me how AWESOME that CD is!
The one I like least is undoubtedly Look sharp!

I LOVE IT!!! it was the first ever roxette album i listened to (got it taped for me for my 10th birthday) and i loved it ever since!!! maybe look sharp, aint too keen on that! lol! or even pearls of passion, it is sooooo eighties! waaay funny!

Wow, six replies and Ferdan hasn’t pointlessly reminded us that we’ve had this topic before... is there nothing in this world we can count on? “Baladas” is the only album I never listen to, but of the ’real’ albums, I think “Pearls of Passion” isn’t quite as good as the others... the fast songs aren’t fast enough, and the ballads are too slow... but hey, it’s a classic anyway, and a hell of a lot better than anything else that came out in 1986!

@Yashar: comparing Dance Passion and Look sharp I obviously choose the latter as the better one. I said Look sharp because we decided not to take into consideration any compilations and such.
I can’t stand Baladas en espanol either.

Ferdan; I can only speak for myself, but I have ALWAYS said that “Tourism” is my less favourite album by Roxette. I didnt even know that Per had made negative comments about it.

Tourism is actually quite good...
I feel very special about that album coz it was the first Roxette album I got and I still love it to this day...
Songs like ’Here Comes The Weekend’, ’Never Is A Long Time’, ’The Heart Shaped Sea’ and ’The Rain’ will always stay in the depths of my heart as they totally sum up (for me anyway) Roxette in their biggest and best stages.
If I was to pick out one of them albums as being one of the ’least loveliest’, then I’d pick ’Pearls Of Passion’...
Although I know someone will feel the same about POP as I do Tourism, I just can’t stand POP... maybe it’s coz I couldn’t find it in the shops anywhere and I spent endless hours searching for the songs to download...which totally destroyed my whole carma for the album...
Please, no-one take effence to anything written here...It’s all written in the friendliest gesture posible...

@Yashar: Maybe I don’t like The look because I am fed up with this song... it has been airplayed everywhere... every TV performance there is, they do the look, every concert or any other live event - here we have the look again... Sometimes enough is enough. While POP has some real PEARLS for me - Secrets that she keeps, Voices, From one heart to another among them... In my humble opinion POP is a very underestimated album... But as you see the more people the more opinions we have :))

First of all, I absolutely love the cover and all the artwork on it, and Joyride is a absolutely great song, and some of the others too. But as an album... I do not like Joyride that much. At least I almost never listens to it... Although, I don’t listen that much to Look Sharp or Pearls of Passion either...
But I do not hate any of them.. it’s just that I do not like those albums enough to put them in the CD player... I don’t know why...

I think Have A Nice Day is my least favorite, even I like some songs from it very much (like Wish I Could Fly, Anyone etc.) I love Pearls Of Passion a lot. In fact I still like this sound of ’80. It’s ok if somebody doesn’t like C!B!B! But I still can’t understand him.

The less lovely album is, and I don’t have any doubt about it, the US Greatest Hits release. because we had one before, they are almost the same songs as the previous one, and because there are too many Compilation albums both of GT, Roxette, Per Gessle and Marie... and it seems we will have even more!!!

...Ok, I love C!B!B! and I also think that BEE is great - every Rox album is great. But if I had to choose the less lovely one it would be POP. It’s (now someone gets angry:) boring, or something. Of course POP includes many great songs (Nevereding Love, Like Lovers Do...), but it’s not as good as C!B!B!, LS! or Tourism.

Of course there are many great songs on that album (my favourite is absolutely (I could never) give you up), but it’s too 80’s style for me (as same as some songs in POP)..
