Well, yeah, at-the-moment-favs change from time to time but Roxette always remains at the top by long shot...The closest to Roxette is probably Depeche Mode.

Well, I’d have to admit I like A-ha pretty much on the same level as Roxette... I don’t think anyone is restricted to 1 band...

Actually, Roxette was ny number 2 band since -89 until a few years ago when I heard The Corrs for the first time. I wasn’t so into Roxette at that time so there was a chance for another band to get the 2nd place in my heart... and, that is what happened.

I think Roxette will always be top for me. However, there are a lot bands that I love “nearly” as much as Rox. ABBA, AoB, E-type, Erasure to name a few. I also really like DM but have been a bit disappointed by their last 2 albums. My 2 fav’s from them are MFTM & Violator.

Depeche is my favorite band, Police comes in second, closely followed by a bunch of other artists.
Favorite songs: The whole Ultra-LP (The Love Thieves, Sister of Night, Home, Insight, Barrel of a Gun &c.)!
@PerFanatic: Ultra needs time till itr grows on you, but then you will really enjoy it. It’s pretty deep and sometimes melancholic stuff, but also quite uplifting.

Because Roxette is the essence of my understanding of music, ever since I saw them first, back in 1988 with “the look”. And now I’m 27 and have no intention nor need to change it. But, I do listen to other bands, and most frequently I listen to Depeche Mode, U2, Garbage, Moby, but no-way no-how do I listen to the sweet brit-pop! BTW, Metallica is great, too.

It is normal to love different kinds of music or bands,but I talk about the first and the most important interset.

But, in the field of modern music,Roxette is my first love.
I always listen to “The Cranberries”, “Chris de burg”, “Bonnie Tyler” and “Rammstein”.But none of them can
not be as exciting as Roxette for me.
However, it’s interesting to know about your interests and can shows many points.
