Is there a band which you like more than Roxette?

There is no doubt that all of the persons who write news,comments or ... on TDR, love Roxette and its artists.
But I want to know : Is there anybody who loves another band more than Roxette?
It is normal to love different kinds of music or bands,but I talk about the first and the most important interset.
I myself love Beethoven more than every new musicians.
But, in the field of modern music,Roxette is my first love.
I always listen to “The Cranberries”, “Chris de burg”, “Bonnie Tyler” and “Rammstein”.But none of them can
not be as exciting as Roxette for me.
However, it’s interesting to know about your interests and can show many points.

last 5 months i have _only_ listened to roxette or marie’s solo albums. OMG!
some finnish bands are great (like kemopetrol), but none of them beats roxette.

Actually, I don’t have anything favorite. But Roxette’s songs are so insightful and beautiful that it’s impossible not to love their songs. I still keep my “not having a favorite anything”; I rather like a song in a group not having to make such group my favorite. I wouldn’t call them my favorite band because I don’t have one at all. Or do I?.... It’s all my brother’s fault - he made me listen to so much Roxette that I am addicted to it now!! Yes, I admit it!!!!!!!! Roxette is my favorite band!!!!! Marie’s solo stuff is way better than Roxette. She is my Number one forever. Her music is just so meaningfull, sincere but also fun... I love her unique style. If she would write in english, and we know she is just as good as Per doing that, if not better (thinking about Bad Moon.) Marie totally Rocks!!!
Roxette would be second to her. Then some, at the moment, Robbie Williams, Shania Twain, die Firma and the new one from Fettes Brot “Welthit”.

I like Avril Lavigne, Shakira, Shania Twain, Vanessa Carlton, Leanne Rimes, Garbage, Fastball, Dido, Placebo, Greenday, Smash Mouth, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, and many more.
There is also this new Australian talent in which is yet to be recognised. His name is Charlton Hill and I liked his song “2’s Company” (The song was used to promote the TV-series ’Charmed’ here in Australia).
If you go to the site you’ll hear bits of his song 2C.
I also like Eminem. Although, I’m not very fond of his lyrics, I like the arrangements and choruses of his songs.

I also like classical music (I’m a classical pianist). I love Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Tchaikovsky and pretty much most of the classical genius.
Have you seen the movie ’Immortal Beloved’?
Although, I like many artists. I usually only like their songs and maybe have a bit admiration for them.
For Roxette however, not only do I like their songs, I also like the group themselves (I adore Per and Marie).

i grew ip listening 2 roxette they are my all time fave. band.but i listen to alot of australian homegrown bands as well like 4 examp. AC/DC,the screaming jets,diesle ect.ect.
but roxette have always been at the top of my list and i would love to see marie and per live in concert if they make it out this far next time.

Of course Gessle is my fave. Specially in Swedish. But I listen to Bon Jovi, Guns N’ Roses, Mötley Crüe, Queen, Poison, Bryan Adams, Chicago more often than Roxette.
In fact, yesterday I played CBB for the first time in a year or so... can’t remember when I played POP or LS for the last time... and Ballad HIts only hit my stereo once.

I think that bands such as AC/DC are classic and others like Pink floyd and such, but Roxette are the best. Their music is so varied that you can’t dislike them. Other bands are better in their own way, but the image mixed with the catchy tunes of Roxette are the best! Especially when you see Per in SDLHA, hes so cute that you gotta fall in love with them :)

I really like Sting’s music, I love some Britpop and Alternative-bands, I also love Depeche Mode, I love some Metalbands (like NIN, MM, Filter, Korn, Creed, Metallica), but I love Roxette the most - since 1989. There are sometimes weeks - even months - when I don’t listen to Rox that often, sometimes I prefer listening to some other band - but I always “end up” listening to Rox again ;)

Next to Roxette my fav band would be The Scorpions. Which if you don’t know are a German Metal/Hard Rock (whatever genre they fall into) band.
I also listen to Doro Pesch which is one of the leading ladies of metal. Disturbed, Linkin Park... there is a huge variety.

I have grown up on Roxette. Other bands were for me only after Roxette or Per. But today i realy like group Colonia from Croatia. Does anybody know them? It´s euro artist, but pretty coooool. So much positive and hits tunes can prepare for one album only Per Gessle and Colonia. Downoload their music and you will see, that it´s true:-)

of course i like other bands. the thing is that i get bored with these bands sometimes, so if i buy their cds, i´d probably throw ´em away as soon as i get bored. however, that would never happen with roxette. that´s why i still listen to “look sharp”or “joyride” albums. i don´t know why, but rox songs have something, it´s like emotions are alive in each song. so every time i listen to them, those emotions arise. as an example, i love “paint”, especially the chorus. marie expresses so many feelings in that song. i dont know, i just love it.
