Demos

I recall Per saying that some of Roxette’s demos were actually stolen...Now are these the ones that are so widely available in the Internet (Spending My Time, Shadow Of A Doubt, Fading Like A Flower...)? It must be quite irritating to see your own recordings on some website and knowing you yourself don’t have them anywhere. :(
Some of Roxette’s demos in my opinion are a lot better than the finished versions (eg Come Back & Run To You). What do you think? And what do you think is the best demo ever?
I say Come Back (Before You Leave).

I don’t know if Per doesn’t really have these songs anywhere...after all they are available on so many bootlegs, which are not that hard to find, take ebay for instance. So, in the worst case, he could simply buy such a CD ;-)))
My fave demo is The rain, Anyone ( from these later sung by Marie) and I agree with little_girl’s choice... IWSL is just SO fab!!! And well, well, Come back (before you leave) is way better than original, agree here as well.

Those demos were not really stolen. It’s just that SOMEONE (hehehehe) who had access to the studio made copies of some demos. And then, those demos ended up in some bootleg CDs.
The following text is printed in the “Super Swedes” CD: “Special thanks to Per for his understanding that these recordings never hurt anybody. He does collect them and we’ll provide him with free samples. Congratulations to you and Marie for your success - you deserve it” - Who Am I? Label
Well, the funny part is, around that time some people were kicked out of the... oh I should shut up now.
Anyway, it’s all old news. Nobody cares about that anymore. At least those demos are widely available for the fans now.
