out of all the rocky stuff,
out of all the poppy stuff,
out of ALL the ballads,

7 Twenty 7 tits & ass demo.
This song just sounds so raw yet soooo good.

the best roxette song for me (although I have favourites that change all the time) but the enduring winner has to be ... Watercolours In The Rain.
I just think that the music and lyrics go so well together, very emotional and not as ’commercial’ as some of the other ballads like Anyone or Milk and Toast and Honey...
It is beautiful and the unplugged version shows marie singing at her best and per playing at his best.

Church of your heart because when this touching voice finds the way to your heart you turn cold and hot, you shiver all over, your eyes get wide and dreamy and ALL you want is Per by your side... *SIGH*

I was thinking about church of your heart when I only saw the headline of this topic and than it was gyllene_tjej whom I found here... ;o)
well, it’s church of your heart for me, just so lovely and - I never thought I’d say that once - waiting for the rain live. Brilliant, really though I didn’t like it on HAND that much.

Hehehe, little-miss-sorrow :) We seem to be like one, thinking the same, like bubbles and soap! :) We in Sweden were extremely lucky to get Church of your heart live performed by tired bunny... ahhhh what sweet memories! ;-)))) *wink*
I also agree with you when it comes to Waiting for the rain live! It was SO powerful and I loved how Marie improvised! Just GREAT! Actually I was humming that song yesterday! :)

For me it’s “Fading Like A Flower”
I can’t live without listening to this song 3 times everyday.
The Marie’s voice is in the best mood. And Per creates an unique and great music in this song.
Piano and guitar have been played and mixed so complete.
But Love to a song can’t be explained.

...was lucky enough to be in Vienna to hear church of your heart as well... ;o)
and about that improvising thing... she had to as she only knew the lyrix somewhen in the end of october I guess lol ;o)

i totally agree that fading like a flower is one of the best songs, but i also really like waiting for the rain and pay the price - per’s guitar solo is sooooooooo good! wish i could play as good as he does!!! lol!
