You know I love you,
You know I always will!
You know I love you,
You know I always will!
No matter what you say or do
no matter what we’re going thru;
Hunny bunny baby I want you!
Ba ba ba ba ba!
7 days and 7 lonely nights
When you are gone, hey I won’t survive!
Please hurry hurry back again,
I’ll be waitin’ hunny until then.
I want you to know: you’re my best friend!
Ba ba ba ba ba
Oh oh oh baby don’t you know
the situation won’t let go!
It’s all for real!
And hey-hey baby after all
we seem to be like John and Paul
Like Rubber Soul - a beautiful team!
Yeah yeah!
I found an apple, an apple in the mud!
I took a bite it tasted really good!
So hurry hurry back again,
I’ll be waiting hunny until then
let’s keep on dancin’ ’til the music ends!
Ba ba ba ba ba!
Oh oh baby don’t you know
the situation won’t let go!
It’s not a dream!
And yeah-ey baby after all
we seem to be like John and Paul
In Rubber Soul - a beautiful team!
A beautiful team!
Yeah!

Wow, love those lyrics!!! :)
I like the Lonely Boys really much, but more the Per-side as the Nisse-side!
Per said they won’t do something again, already in those days when the CD was released. Just one-time-thingy! It’s sad, but it’s what he said!

Yeah i love the LB lbum. I always thought it would be cool if they made a movie about the lonely boys and used the music from the album, Kind of like “that thing you do”
Cheers

The lonely boys were so great!
Per must record a new album with TLB

I have to admit I didn’t care much for Nisse’s side, but Per’s contributions were just wonderful... “Apple in the Mud,” and “Keep The Radio On (This is the Perfect Song)” are two of the best pop tunes ever, and yet, I don’t think they’d have worked for Roxette. I’m glad we got a chance to hear them!
-Chris (wishing he’d brought his Lonely Boys CD to work...)

Hey Chris!
I so agree with you, the Per material is outstanding, while the Nisse material is not at all what I like. Per mumbled a few years ago about a “Lost Album” by TLB, but you know Per...

pietROxette said on April 21, 2002 08:50:
Apple In The Mud is the best song Gessle has ever written!!!
I can’t give you links to mp3s, but you can download all the tracks from this album in real audio if you go to http://www.pietroxette.com , select your language, go to Discography » Per » The Lonely Boys. Also, there are the lyrics to all the songs. Enjoy.

Oh my! I love this CD , most of all: “Flowers On The Moon”!! I’ve even learnt how to play the guitar solo for this song ( it’s actually the ONLY solo I can play beside Fleetwood Mac’s “Silver Springs”...) Cheers to all the Lonely Boys fans!!

thanx a lot piet!!!!!!!! the best song he ever wrote? hmm.. i thimk i prefer blue umbrella..

Ditroia: this cd is made as a soundtrack to a book. This sounds crazy, but it’s true. Some Swedish writer wrote a book about a band and someone came up with this idea to have a soundtrack recorded. They asked Per and Nisse and they agreed. I’m still thankful for that!
