She is on tour since August last year, and she played already in 58 cities, and she will come this year in Romania too, so i was wondering, is it charity she is visiting here? I wonder.... And how she can do it for such a long time and with so many countries? I think i will go to see her instead of Per, I am so upset ...

mixella, madonna means bussines, she sold almost 10 millons of the hard candy (actually sucks) i saw live ans sucks too. But you can not compare with a club tour ...

10 million? dont know where you got that figure from....it sold about 2.5 million, perhaps closer to 3 million by now. Still pretty impressive in todays market, but a flop by madonna’s standards. It was an utterly repulsive album though, so it didnt deserve to do well anyway. A 50 year old mother trying to get “down with the kids” and parading around in her knickers doesnt really do anything for me. I actually do quite like madonna (on occasion) but this latest project was wrong on so many levels.

First of all, who is Madonna and who is Per. There is such a huge difference. Madonna has sold over 100 million copies comparing to let’s say maximum 2 million of Per’s.

Mixella, you can’t be talking seriously! You can’t compare Per with Madonna. She sold out 4 concerts at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires (67.000 tickets each concert). She tours everywhere because she’s gonna sell out everywhere. It’s her business. Of course, I didn’t attend any of her concerts. I never liked her music nor her as an ’artist’.

And you think Per wouldn’t sell here as well? At least 1000 tickets? I wish I could understand why he didn’t choose our country ? Not with Roxette, and not with his solo projects? As long as so many international artists has come here, is not a wast of resources, if we talk business he would have made money here. He went to Hungary he went to Russia, why not here? I am afraid that this may be the last international tour he will perform and that’s is it, I will never get to see him here. I went through a great deal last time when i went to Stockholm just to see him, and know many of our fans who would love to see him at least one time. He goes 3 times in Germany, and not once here... that’s why I am so upset... And i don’t like Madonna, i am more pissed off because she is coming and Per isn’t.

@Mixella - there are people living in South America and Australia who want to go. They have to travel for at least 15 hours before they can get to a show. What have you got to do? Travel an hour or so and then you’re there. Stop moaning and just deal with it.
Even people within the UK have to travel to London, I have to go on a 45 minute flight to get to London. Am I moaning? No! Why? Because I’m seeing Per. It’s worth it! If you want to go, go!

Back to the topic...
yep, I’m gonna see her in Warsaw, though Ullevi concert sounds interesting ;) But I’ll be in Sweden for Per’s sake in the May and now I don’t see any possibilty to travel around the Europe. Last year I’ve seen her gig in Berlin and it was simply amazing even if I did not like her latest album. Can’t miss the chance to watch this old lady again, ha ha ha.

Charity? You mean money-making! That’s the moving force for stars like her. With the expansion of the EU she got new markets awaiting for her. She’ll be visiting Bulgaria too, they even announced it in the news tonight! Why are you skipping Per this time? Go to one of his shows, at least the music will be better ;o)
