I joined TDR one week ago (although I have been a Rox fan since 1989), so I cannot judge whether it changed or stayed the same, but I quite like it here. In the nineties I was a member of the Dutch fan club and I visited fan club days. This forum is a nice follow-up to that.

According to my profile - 7 years 19 weeks, too, but that’s just because we had to re-register when the design changed in 2001 (or were all profiles automatically reset that day? Can’t quite remember anymore). Technically, it should be something like 11 years and 3 weeks...

I used to like it when we had www.roxette.nl and TDR - I used to flit between the two and see who got the ’scoop’ first... It’s a shame that roxette.nl disappeared - a bit like to the Original UK Roxette Fanclub that was based in Poole in Dorest. When I first joined that it was great. I remember getting a newsletter around the time of C!B!B! with a picture and menu from Per’s wedding to Asa...lol

I don’t really remember, I remember I studied at University 95-98 and that in the last 2 years I spent a lot of time in the library, and from time to time surfing, and TDR was a MUST VISIT, so it must have been from the beginning because I know I was glad I found TDR - FRESH ROX NEWS :)
I however used to have another User, Efvorna, which I used for some time.. until I decided it was stupid and I should just use my name :)
Now I saw “Judith” is registered for over 7 years.. even THIS is such a long time @_@

The Official UK fanclub was awful as far as I remember. The fanzines were colourful, but those produced by the unofficial club in Holland were 10 times better. I still have piles of them somewhere in my cupboard I think

I remember the Look Sharp design back then. Roxette.nl (other adress at that time) was the very first web site I surfed to in 1996, the adress was written on the SDLHA single. And I remember that Visa paused TDR for some months, until he came back with the team around. Haveaniceday.nu (remember the first promo pics of HAND: Karate-Marie, an ear...) and roxette.net were popular too. *memories*
