her song Hot’n’Cold is a mighty catchy dance - rock song, it makes me tap my foot everytime I hear it, a song that would fit on any Roxette record with that aweseom chorus
“I kissed a girl” was also nice, but not as good as that other one
both tunes were co-written by Max Martin

I did not even pay much attention to the so called “controversial” lyrics.... she could have sang about kissing a boy for all I care.... and I am not sure how controersial these lyrics are today in 2008....there has already been a big pop song from a female about kissing a girl about 10 years ago
and one can say that controversy helps a lot of artists.... Madonna, Cindy Lauper and today Pink and Agulera all try to be edgy and controversial in lyrics... so it’s not only relevant to Perry
