Ending to 'Doesn't Make Sense'

Can someone enlighten me on the creative reasoning behind an abrupt end to probably the best ending to a song Per has ever done?

I don’t get it either. Such an awesome end phase, and all ruined by cutting the song of. He did the same with “Den öde stranden” on his first solo-cd.

for me it’s a high.
The song is kind of a misterious one, and it ends just like a good misterious film. The time before the end is like.. suspense.. there will happen something.. or not.. and then it’s over.
It’s love and there is nothing more to say about it.

Beatles did the same with “I want you”, so you can call this track Liverpool’s Fab 4 inspired.

Just check it out the last seconds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dROLfId-Zsg

And by the way - there’s a fan-made fade-away version of “Doesn’t make sense” circulation somewhere over the internet, so you may like it.

If it ends like this it seems it has a sense. ;)

@tomos85: Interesting comparison to this great Beatles song! :)

I think the album is amateur, it’s a new start or attempt to change anything?

Yes I love the song, but the ending reminds me alot of the end of June Afternoon, not the tune, just nice music, but the end to the song I don’t like

Amazing song but terrible ending!
I faded it out myself, I can’t stand the cut.
He did the same before with “Den ode stranden” but by then it really sounded amazing, this time didn’t work Mr Gessle

It’s a great song, and the ending is kind of funny.

I guess, if you think about it: it doesn’t make sense...

;oP

I’m not disappointing about the abrupt end, but somehow the ending it remind me Abba’s The day before you came. BTW its a great song!
