Join The Joyride North American Tour

Hello all!
I’m feeling nostalgic lately. First time I saw Roxette live was during the North American Join the Joyride tour on Feb. 23, 1992 at the historic Orpheum Theater in Minneapolis. I was 13 years old and on cloud nine. I was wondering if anyone has record of what the set list was for that leg of the tour? I’ve watched Liveism so many times I’ve brainwashed myself into thinking that was the exact concert I went to. LOL.
Thanks for any and all of your help!

Thanks for your insight!! I wish internet was more prominent back then. I cannot remember Sleeping Single or Paint (acoustic) at all. I would love an mp3 of Paint (acoustic) if anyone knows where to direct me..

Don’t know about an mp3, but you can find it on German Maxi CD and UK CD2 of the “Queen Of Rain” single.

I love the acoustic version of Paint. I tend to like the majority of their acoustic versions of songs actually

I haven’t ever found an official set list online for this leg of the tour.
The setlist used for most of the tour was as follows:
Hotblooded / Dangerous / Fading Like A Flower / Church Of Your Heart / Sleeping Single / Spending My Time / Watercolours In The Rain / Paint (acoustic) / Knockin On Every Door / Dance Away / The Big L. / Things Will Never Be The Same (acoustic) / Dressed For Success / Soul Deep / The Look
first encore: (Do You Get) Excited? / Joyride
second encore: Listen To Your Heart / Perfect Day
The Live-Ism song order was changed when they produced the video. As far as I am aware they still played the usual setlist in Sydney. The Summer Joyride leg in 92 had a slightly different setlist and included “Cry”, “How Do You Do!” and “Heart Shaped Sea” but dropped other songs. But I digress...
I saw them play in Toronto, ON on March 3rd and from my memories of that show (rusty as they are!) I do not recall them playing either Sleeping Single or Dance Away. Although I cannot be 100% sure, I have further memories to back this up. Dance Away was one of my favourite songs at the time and I remember being suprised when I later bought a bootleg of Zurich 91 and found it in the setlist.
I also read a review of their Vancouver, BC show which mentioned Sleeping Single and this also stood out for me at the time.
My one other hazy memory is that Dressed For Success may have been played at the beginning (after Hotblooded). I seem to remember Marie pulling the sleeves off of her catsuit during this song. Also, a friend of mine was there with his sister who wanted to take him out of the concert because she thought Marie was singing “Dressed for Some Sex.” It is less likely that she would have tried to do this over an hour into the show had it been played in the usual spot.
This is all specualtion however as I was so enraptured by my first concert experience at 14 years old (and Roxette to boot!) that I was not thinking about writing down the set list. These were also the days when the internet was slowly becoming a reality and I was still getting all of my information from newspapers and magazines (where full setlists for shows were not generally published)
I would love to hear other peoples recollections as well. I have also always wondered if any recordings of the North American shows have ever surfaced. I have never seen or heard any except for brief clips of a couple of songs from Toronto. There is a bootleg out there called Roxette Live USA or something like that but I think it’s just tracks from Zurich again.
