Nice pictures. These new colourful pictures looks really nice, this combination of colourless faces with colourful background.
But I have one off topis comment. I am excited much more right now, if Marie will fly with Per and Mats to London next month. Would be great to see them both together again. Some 6 months remains to another Rox anniversary. Their breakthrough with The Look back in spring 1989.

I’m not surprised aboout that. The illness, and the therapy that she had was so hard. But she looks great on the pictures! And she said that she is healty, that’s the most important thing about her.
How do you mean she is fragile?

sorry for the inconvenience
It works since this morning, but i just got home
mixella1 said on September 20, 2008 11:35:
that’s what he told me, she was not that strong. What do you mean by that? I don’t really know. My guess is that she will not jump on the stage anymore like she did before, and the best thing that we will see her performe again are some ballads .
DoraHun said on September 20, 2008 12:21:
Well, Marie told this herself, in an interview in February, that she’s not going to jump and run across the stage as she did before.
The illness and the therapy left their scars on her. (Some part of her brain was injured, she is almost blind on one eye, sure it is visible on her movements.) Still, she is a great artist, both in music and in drawing! And she seems to be happy with that, so all the fans should be happy with what she gives us! :)

In my opinion, her art style has improved a lot. The charcoal faces that featured on “The Change” cover were nice, but the colorful ones that appeared later on the booklet of “Tid för tystnad” and that promo single of “Ett bord i solen” were... so so, a bit childish. Now she turned into a more abstract (sort of ’cubist’) style that suits her more. I don’t know, it just looks better to my eye.
Sorry, it’s better to focus on her art. The repetitive discussion about her eye and her movements bores me. We’ve been talking about that matter for years, don’t you think it’s time to let that topic go?

I totally agree with you!!!
(I was surprised that this came up to.)

(I wanted to write “came up again” but was interrupted, sorry)

Thanx a lot for these nice pics!! And I have to agree with what 7twenty7 wrote.
Would be cool to have a real “Fredriksson”-paint on the wall one day...but...well...hmm bit expensive maybe. :)
CRIZ said on September 20, 2008 21:19:
You could buy this from merchandise-shop already weeks ago. If I’m not wrong, it’s just a print.
mixella1 said on September 20, 2008 21:22:
Why didn’t somebody told that before, I didn’t knew. Anyway this is great , you can use it to frame it and looks like you own some of her drawings
And you can show the cd as well. So it’s nice.
CRIZ said on September 20, 2008 21:27:
Of course it’s nice..but...105 Euro...hmm..I could grab my Mariebook and make my own print ....sorry. Marie..of course it’s her copyright but 105 Euro is much money for me for a picture. Anyway..wouldn’t fit my wall...I’m still waiting for the perfect Marie painting that fits my taste 100 %. Than I also would maybe pay 100 Euro for a print. :) Go on painting Marie but don’t forget to sing inbetween please!! I still prefer her outstanding voice!!!

There’s a few grammar errors here and there. I’ll do it on here because it’s easier and you rather unhelpfully don’t accept messages.
She was from 1984 - she was what? Missing word.
The art and drawings of Marie Fredriksson, to which she has always been devoted, has to come to life more during her convalescence and the recovery times. Theres an issue with tensing here as well - it’s ’have come to light’ not ’has’. And you could say ’convalescence and recovery’
I love coal. You’ve mentioned charcoal before. Coal and charcoal are 2 different things, and you tend to draw with charcoal, not coal chips or lumps.
It is where I paint often when my children are gone to school. What would sound better is ’It is where I paint, often when my children HAVE gone to school’
Also, there’s another consistency issue I have - you alternate between ’Gothenburg’ and Goteborg. A good translator is aiming to keep as true to the original text as possible, as well as consistency. Pick a spelling and STICK with it!
If there are some other problems with english, I can’t see them but to be honest it’s probably due to tiredness. Good work though.
