Hello everybody!
Queen with Paul Rodgers will released new album, what do you thing about this group?
When I heard on youtube Radio Ga Ga and after this play Radio Ga Ga with Freddy, it’s total dirrerent, but Paul is big singer !!! Several song of Queen I like it.I wish good luck for Queen.

Queen was greatest band,its a legend,but I hardly can imagine them without Freddy,noyone is able to compare with him,and I think it’d be not brilliant as it was.but I wonder how would it be, when it ’ll comes out I’ll try to get and listen.

Exactly, Queen DIED with Freddy. No disrespect to Paul Rodgers, but any Queen album now is going to be a pale imitation. If they’d changed the bandname, it wouldn’t be half as bad!

And didn’t they release albums post Freddy anyway? Or is my brain going a bit fuzzy

Freddy Mercury is totally overrated! Of course Queen will never be the same without him. But the sound of Queen is very much Brian May, people often are not aware of it. Listen to Freddy solo, you’ll see that it sounds very weak compared to Queen. And Queen was one of the few bands in history were ALL members contributed to Songwriting.

I saw a concert with Paul Rodgers two years ago in cologne and it was great! They never tried to substitute Freddy, they were different. But very good!

I’m looking foward to the new record.

Freddy Mercury solo might have sucked but it’s the presence man, the presence! That’s what made Queen so great, the presence and the spectacle and the pure bombastic sillyness.

I have been a big fan of Queen and Queen + Paul Rodgers. Now I see them as other/new band than before. And I love their new album very much. They are on the tour now. I saw 2 concerts in Germany and I will see another 3 concerts soon. I am so looking forward to them! In 2005 I saw their 4 shows.:-)) They are also great with Paul.:-)
