On the expressen website is a link where you can listen to “Där du andas” sung by Marie:

Amazing, thanks for the link. I really like the song, has a folk-feeling and Marie’s voice is so gentle and delicate... reminds me of the Lord of the Rings soundtrack. It’s always nice to be surprised with such great songs, way to go Marie!

I wrote down DDA lyrics. I would be grateful if anyone corrects me
Där du andas
Spöken och spel
Tvivel och tvång
Månen går upp
Den ser vad du är
Lyser i natt
Och strålarna följer mej
Dom hör mej viska
Där du andas
Där du älskar
Där vill jag leva
Min stund på jorden
Där vi sjunger
Ska alla himlens änglar
Få lust till samma sång
Jo, detta ????
Klinga så rent
Blir till ett bild
Av kärlekens ????
Och hoppet och tro
Att ingenting är försent
Att hjärta ska för ro
Där du andas
Där du älskar
Där vill jag leva
Min stund på jorden
Där vi sjunger
Ska alla himlens änglar
Få lust till samma sång
Och samma gång
I samma sång
Där du andas
Där du älskar
Där vill jag leva
Min stund på jorden
Där vi sjunger
Samma längtan
Samma drömmar
Samma månen
Samma toner
Som samma röst
I samma sång

@PiR_GeSSLe
I think it’s much better than mine. Thanks for filling all those gaps. And I see that I have to work harder on my Swedish, cos I’ve made some stupid mistakes :x :D
But still, I would say it’s “samma toner” not “tonar”
PiR_GeSSLe said on July 2, 2008 19:43:
Hey Tomos! Great job! I was writing down the lyrics too, so as to practice a little swedish. (tack för hjälpen, Ted!) ;) Here’s my final version, it’s pretty much like yours but there might as well be mistakes here, of course, I’m not swedish either!
Spöken och spel
tvivel och tvång
Månen går upp
den ser vad du vill
Lyser i natt
och strålarna följer mig
de hör mig viska att
Där du andas
där du älskar
där vill jag leva
min stund på jorden
Där vi sjunger
ska alla himmelens änglar få lust
till samma sång
Ljudet av oss
klingar så rent
blir till en bild av kärlekens väg
och hoppet och tro
att ingenting är försent...
att hjärta ska få ro
Där du andas
där du älskar
där vill jag leva
min stund på jorden
där vi sjunger
ska alla himmelens änglar få lust
till samma sång

@tomos85: Hey, your swedish is great! ... and you were absolutely right about “toner”, it’s been corrected! Thanks! :)

Not bad at all, but it’s not the best Marie effort, for sure. I don’t get used to this ’cracked up’ voice of her. It’s the same with “Ett bord i solen” :-(
Roxnox said on July 3, 2008 00:08:
The song is GREAT!!
Marie shines as always!! Her voice sounds sweet and perfect as always!!
I LOVE U MARIE!!
ps: 7twenty7:
You are always the same!!
RobS said on July 3, 2008 08:11:
Nice song, as PiR_GeSSLe said it reminds me of LOTR music slightly.
7-Twenty-7 said on July 3, 2008 14:53:
If you can’t deal with the others’ opinion, you have a BIG BIG problem there. You are the kind of person that believes every thing sung by Marie or Per is perfect and Heaven’s sent. Why should I think the same way?
bunny2 said on July 3, 2008 19:46:
wowowow..the songs is sooooooooo great! Marie’s voice is perfect! The melody is very sweet! It’s made for a movie. Marie you are the best!
I LOVE YOU! Thank you, O. from Germany
coyboyusa said on July 3, 2008 22:06:
is it just me or does it kinda remind you of into the west by annie lennox?
so say we all
whateveriam said on July 4, 2008 07:43:
Yeah, but Into The West was better. Marie’s song...well, it doesn’t really light my candle. I’m not saying it sucks, but I don’t think it’s the best thing she’s ever done
onlywhenidream said on July 6, 2008 08:57:
nice song - a bit too much like My Heart Will Go On for my liking though...especially with that pan pipe sound. Hmmm
roxtexanet said on July 6, 2008 19:50:
The pan flutes definitely made me think of MHWGO. But this song is much more subtle... not better, necessarily, just not as grandiose (and it probably won’t get annoying the way that MHWGO did so many years ago, after the 10 billionth time hearing it on the radio!).
Anyway, great to hear Marie sing something Micke didn’t write...

What you expect and want?
Don’t forget -the song was made for movie -Arn.
I watched the movie and Marie’s song is perfect for it!
Excellent job!!
Song and melody fits the story, the “sound and soul” of that movie!!
ps. The movie is good. I definitely will buy soundtrack and even DVD of second part.
coyboyusa said on July 7, 2008 18:32:
just me sounding off on people complaining about maries voice, maybe you guys should record and tour for 10 years straight and see what your voice sounds like, and over a 25 year career? Maybe you guys forgot but she sings some 88% of roxettes catalogue, in studio, on tour, during promos, sh’es lucky she can still talk let alone carry a tune. The only thing that ever worried me about her voice after her cancer was the fact she has problems staying in pitch...which seems to point out she has hearing problems now
so say we all

The Arn books are a huge success. The first Arn movie was seen by around 1,000,000 people in Sweden, which is a LOT. The movies are a co-production between several countries and an international version will be released. Who knows what will happen with that. I seriously doubt that Marie’s song will be a hit anywhere else than Sweden, if that. Laleh sang the outro song in Arn I and that wasn’t a hit.
The new movie opens August 22 or so. We’ll see.

Argh, damnit, that’s not what I wanted to know! I wanted to know box office takings, not bums on seats! I know how much the last one cost to make, just can’t find the box office takings. Help, anyone?
tevensso (moderator) said on July 7, 2008 20:54:
Not sure the numbers are out, but they needed over 750.000 to break even. 470.000 had seen it by Dec. 31, 653.000 by Jan 7.
7-Twenty-7 said on July 7, 2008 22:53:
The Laleh single, ’Snö’, peaked at #14 in the Swedish singles chart. It’s not the kind of song that hits the #1 spot, anyway. I don’t like it much, sounds like Björk making a cover of Enya. I’d say she sounds more Björk than the real one, indeed. LOL

The cover art for the “Där Du Andas” single can be seen here:
