As far as I remember Per has said in one of the interviews long time ago that Barcelona and Brussell RS shows were recorded in audio quality. So that means there was a leak :D

Finally a great sounding concert from that era!!
The only thing i could say about the quality is not about the sound but the band themselves. Roxette has played better concerts that might be a reason why Per wasn’t happy about the recordings.
As a fan you can’t express in words the feeling of having a concert from Room Service Tour that you can actually hear without thinking in the awful noise of an audience recording :)

Definitely not one of their best performances, but there are some great tracks in there. Just listened to Hotblooded, sounds awesome.

Nice with a somewhat better quality all though its not brilliant. Maries vox gets distorted on some occasions, and the drums are not that nicely mixed.
But what really tears me apart it the deterioration of Marie voice itself. She has to struggle thu the whole set. I know its stupid and maybe overly nostalgic to think that a smokers quality of voice will be everlasting, but it make me sad to compare this recording with, for example, the live version of Cry performed at the indoors leg of the Look Sharp Sweden tour. I know the days of those sensational Marie high notes are gone, but i cant really accept it :-S.
PS: I know I have asked this before, but i have never really gotten a precise answer, and since we are discussing live performances to some extent, i once again wonder; Was the Borgholm Look Sharp concert recorded in its entirety (i e the full set and not only the once featured on the Look Sharp VHS)? I seems plausible, and if so, why havent these other songs leaked out during the years. I want it!! :-)

I’m still wondering about the source though. Compare this to the FLAF live from barcelona (011022) on the Opportunity Nox single. It’s no where near as good. Unless there was some post-production done on the ON release?

My mistake, it is from Brussels. Although my point still stands.
If they weren’t happy with some of the songs from the one set, then i don’t see the problem with mixing them together.

Re: Yeah, i know it is stupid (as I wrote in my original message), but my point is that I dont think i´ve heard many stong live vocal performances from Marie (if any) during the years before Roxette went bye-bye.
While Pers voice (and singing technique!) has only gotten better year by year, its exactely the opposite with Marie. Thats the way things goes I suppose, but one cant help to think how more recent material would have sounded live with that awsome voice still intact.

I do agree that even though its a high quality recording, there are some technical issues with it (there seems to be an overall difference between ’cd1’ and ’cd2’) and Marie does struggle a bit, but I couldn’t care less, its sooo great just cranking up the volume and feeling like I’m actually there, especially with the ’Ole Ole Ole’ chant from the crowd hehe.
BTW did anyone else notice the person clicking their camera about half way through Little Girl - very annoying, could have waited until the end of the song, but I guess it does add to the atmosphere :P
Forgot to add - overall I’d give it 9/10 (would love some video to go with it hehe perhaps in the Live DVD Boxset :P ....’keep dreamin’ )
