I seem to be THE ONLY one waiting for a new Roxette album!?
I LOVE ROXETTE!! My heart is on Roxette then in all the personal projects of Marie and Per. I know all Marie went through,but she still has the power in her eyes! She has the best voice ever heard.
Marie talk about a possible Roxette comeback in her last interview about the exibition.So come on guys!! I want a new Roxette album!!

And Marie has nearly always been asked about and mentioned a possible comeback in interviews post 2002. Who knows what will happen? If she wants to, she will. If not, not. That’s all.
@Revolution - Jeez man, lay off the fucking caps! And people always ask, and the answer’s the same - ’whatever Marie wants’ It’s not up to him!

The power from Rox disappeared a bit even before Marie got sick and it was also Per who got a bit tired about some things.(Read “Att vara Per Gessle” if you know swedish...)...Let’s just wait and see and pray and be happy with what we get. And if we are not happy with what we get whe have to live with that. :) Do they still have a record contract with EMI? I think I read some time ago that the last one ended 2007 but maybe I’m wrong.

The Roxette‘s comeback NOT depends if Marie wants.She WANTS! But she can do it on her way,on her “new” way.A very very close one to Marie (i can’t give you his name for privacy) told me she really wants to comeback with Roxette.She’s a very different person today,very diff to one before.
So,nowadays i‘m wondering that maybe Per doesn’t want to comeback with Marie.

@ Konstpaus: Whenever I speak of Roxette people are always asking about HER, they don’t even know Per exists, and I always correct them, BUT you have to remember that from an international and songwriters’ point of view, one can’t be TOO mad at the fact that Marie has more vocal talent than Per. Therefor it is HEAVEN for Per to write songs for Marie’s incredible voice to sing - therefor she has to bring in audiences in their overseas concerts. She’s delivering the goods and putting an “Image” to the band. And - sex sells. Marie has tons more sex-appeal than Per could ever dream to have. So, let’s face it: To be in the music industy, especially the pop industy, you have to look young, sexy and you have to sing great. Marie has all this - that’s why people associate Roxette with only her. She made Per what he is today - a well-known, filthy rich songwriter.
I too think that Roxette has a lot of oomff to give yet, so I will NEVER give up hope for a new album, but as everybody has stated so truly - it’s not up to us! But we will never stop hoping and dreaming and opening threads like these. It’s our right! Without us fans, Per and Marie would probably be living some ordinary life. Just 2 people no one is interested in. But we put them up high and we have the right to dream for more!!

We have to accept the official statements from Per and Marie. Sorry, but I don’t give anything about any unofficial and nonproven statements.
The facts are:
- Marie definitely thinks that Roxette will do something in the future
- Per has nothing to talk about at this point
- They discuss possible Roxette projects constantly
That’s the actual state of affairs and we have to deal with it.
