Per, how many demos have you recorded for a new roxette album?

But it could be true. Why is Per re-releasing an old album, why not TWATG2 or SOAP2? So lets hope for a ne rox album :)

Per may very well be recording new demos, he wouldn’t be doing his job if he didn’t. But I guess they’re for his solo work now as opposed to anything else. That’s just the way things are.

Seriously, we don’t know what Per has on his calendar. But for a solo album it’s already a very long preparation phase for his standards. And don’t forget, Marie herself announced their ongoing discussions about a Roxette project. So I think a new Roxette album isn’t that unbelievable.

Be sure Per is recording new demos all the time. Everytime he has a tune inside his head, everytime he gets the inspiration. That’s not a surprise. But I don’t think he makes the demos ’for Roxette’, ’for SOAP’ etc. He just comes up with the ideas, he has not idea where every potential song will end up. He might be recording new demos, but it does not mean a Roxette album is being recorded in a short term.

What is it, some form of Reuters for rumour manufacture or something? There’s nothing to report. Things go on as normal - Per has more and more reasons to carry on solowork, Marie seems ticketyboo doing her own thing. It’s all open to change, but this band isn’t exactly surprising and exciting (I go for the term ’safe’), I highly doubt they’ll spring a new album on us surprisingly as some kind of sick joke.

Probably for herself, but imho her solo work wouldn’t delay a rox project anyway. It never did in the past.
