Dance Passion CD artwork

Hi everyone,
Its been almost a year since I asked for some help getting scans of the Dance Passion LP so that I could make a proper CD booklet and inlay. After some responses, but no scans, I was lucky enough to recently pick up a copy of the LP. Yay!
I know it isn’t a favourite amongst many fans, but for those of us who do like it and have one of the bootleg CDs, I have finally been able to finish the artwork. It looks alright on screen, but my printer at home isn’t up to snuff so I can’t judge if it will print properly for everyone.
If you’re interested in helping me determine if the colours look right (or too bright or dull or whatever) once printed, PLEASE EMAIL ME. I will send the first 5-10 respondees a PDF file (3.7MB) with artwork for the booklet as well as both conventional and Super Jewel Box tray inlays.
If the majority of people agree that its fine, I’ll post a link to download the final PDF with bleed, crop and score marks. If no one responds (stranger things have happened), I’ll release it by the weekend as is.

Me too!
Oh and by the way, there are devices available that calibrate your screen’s color settings. Though I don’t own one myself (considering it), it might be extremely useful. Below I posted a link a one of the options:

Hi Colin, considering that I do print work maybe 2% of the time and web work the other 98%, it wouldn’t be worth it for me. Macs are quite good in terms of calibration in any case - I just have don’t have proper stock (or a nice colour laser printer) to do test prints on. Thanks for the link though - I may consider it again sometime in the future.

I felt the same - wanted scans and nobody really bothered except 1 guy (but it wasn’t print quality). I’d love the scans please please please!!! Do you have anything of the lp itself? Please mail me too - [email protected]

Hello again everyone,
I actually finally finished this about 3 weeks ago, but forgot to upload the final file and post the link.
I have done test prints (on a colour laser printer) and have also been told that the results look fine from normal inkjet printers.
The file can be downloaded from http://barry.mieny.com/files/roxette/dance-passion.pdf
All pages have 1mm bleed and can be trimmed on the crop marks, except for the SJB inlay which needs to be trimmed according to the shape.
Enjoy!

It’s very well done, but I don’t think I’m gonna print it. I already have the original bootleg but I hardly play it (the remixes are terrible). So, there’s no point in printing a nice sleeve to house a crappy CD, LOL!

Yeah OK, I’ll have a go at it.
