hi everybody
i’m back for a long time in this forum. why? have to tell you rox-folks a nice story about how a 18 year old girl fell in love with roxette’s music a few weeks ago. but let me explain it step by step:
first of all, sorry about my english, i am living in switzerland, and yes this little country has got four spoken languages, but english is not one of them....... ;-)
ok, i am 33 years old and had not a long time ago an affair with an 18year old girl. it was just a short but intensiv relationship. one night, we where laying on my couch watching tv. but it was a little bit boring. she asked me, what want you to do most right now. i told without thinking a minute and said: now i have got big lust to have a nice musicsession, that means cd or dvd into the player and fell absolutely down on the couch, enjoy the feelings when the song touch your soul and all the nice impressions came back you had memoriezed with the sound. so i decided to listen to the unplugged concert with her. i explainded her what big thing this was at that time and how much people attended all around the world on tv. she was really interested in all that explanations and fell also into the beautiful sounds from that time. then at the end “perfect day” the last song began and she said. this is the most beautiful song i ever heard till now. i said, you are right, this is the perfect ballad with the most special chorus i ever heard. then we slept arm in arm on the couch till the morning came. the next day she downloaded tons of songs over the net (this are also the teens today :-( ) anrd started to fell in love with roxette.
then our relation ended for about two months. yesterday came an sms in with the words. hey you, i am listening to perfect day and thinking of you.
just wanted to tell you this nice story and also the young people from today likes rox sound like we did in the 80ies.

The story of yours is great to learn!!! Roxette is a superb band of all ages.As for me I’m twenty; and I fell in love with Per & Marie a few years ago. Every song makes me spellbound and every tune I recognize easily on the radio, in transport,in cafeterias.
Thank you, Marie and Per!
By the way, are there any other young fans of Roxette in Russia?

A few weeks ago an about 16 year old guy was sitting next to me in a train. I soon identified the song coming out of his earphones as Soul Deep, followed by The Look. Then he got off the train, but I think he listened to the first RoxBox CD. Sometimes I´ve got the feeling that many kids in his age have never heard of Roxette.

I can maybe tell you about the youngest Roxfans that exist.
I´m 32 years old, I listen to Rox every day, most time over my ipod, when my kids are at home.
But if there is any song of Roxette in the radio (car, home, superamarket), they run to me and
tell me whit a big passion: “mama, did you heart that song? It was Per & Marie”.
My Roxettestuff is all into a big box- so they are not influenced of my being fan. Just sometimes when I get an item I
open the box and they can see the stuff.
My doughter (4) loves Per a lot- she says he looks like “Stubbelpeter” (I don´t know the name in English)
And my son (6) loves a lot Marie´blond hair.... good tast :)

Hello everyone, I’m sure my 2 years old nephew will be a big Roxette fan soon, he recognizes Per and Marie on the posters and calls them “Akse” (he can’t speak properly yet). I have The Look on my cell phone and when it rings he says “na na”. He also says “na na” when he asks me to play that song on my phone and when he hears it he begins clapping!!!

I guess, every Roxette fan is a good promoter of Roxette music. We always talk about Roxette, well, at least me. And after a while our friends get tired of all these talks about Roxette ask to listen to Roxette CD :)

Wow!! What a great story. I have told some of my friends about the “magic” of Roxette’s songs and Marie’s immaculate voice and beauty too and they are now fans also.
We can make Roxette live forever!!!
