Anyone knows this song? It’s another version diffrent from Ratata and Per sings as well. Was this song ever released on something? Who is Cia?
CoyRoy said on April 17, 2008 05:41:
I still think it’s one of the best songs Per EVER wrote and I’m so sorry that they never released it on a proper cd.
tevensso (moderator) said on April 17, 2008 06:06:
It’s out on CD: Absolute Music 2 (or 3, can’t remember) and Record Station 5 years.

I have the Ratata version and it’s different, I have both songs. It’s not a mistake in writing the name. I can give it to you if you want. Write me on mixella2002 on yahoo.com In the version i have you can hear Per’s voice and it’s more rock than the other version .
@ tevensso which version do you refer to? the Ratata version is on that cd?
colinvdbel (moderator) said on April 17, 2008 07:10:
Hi mixella,
There are two versions on the 7” and one of those is on the CD’s as well.
You can send me your mp3 for comparison if you want?
Cheers,
Colin

i upload it here, please find me more details about this version if you please

This is the normal version with Eva Dahlgren and Ratata. The b-side is acoustic.

thank you tevensso for the clearing, It seems that i found it on a wrong name. My bad. It’s a beautiful song never the less
RJ1976 said on April 17, 2008 16:00:
I Also have 2 versions... But it’s just the normal and the talking accoustic on :-)
7-Twenty-7 said on April 17, 2008 18:28:
I don’t like the crappy acoustic version, officially named “digital lägereldsmix”. It’s absolutely boring!
CoyRoy, the song was not written by Per only. I think it was a joint composition with Marie, Eva, Anders Glenmark and the Ratata guys. Per should not take all the credit himself! :)
Btw, I think “Ratata, Eva Dahlgren & Roxette” is fairer than “Roxette & Cia”, because they were not inferior or subordinated to Roxette in any way...
Jud (moderator) said on April 18, 2008 06:04:
one of my favourite songs, and yes, all the guys involved wrote the song, not just Per ;-)
I love the accoustic better, actually I like both. This song made me actually interested in Eva Dahlgren ;-)

I’ve just listened to this song for the first time in years, and it goes to show how good Marie’s voice is when compared to other people. I miss those old days when she used to sing like that! She always sounded so good!! She still does now, but it’s different. I still love her voice though. I guess that’s what got me liking Roxette in the first place though

Does anybody have the acoustic version in good quality and bitrate? I have it, but it seems the 7” it was taken from was totally ruined and scratched, judging by all the noise I hear!
whateveriam said on April 19, 2008 20:48:
Ha ha, nice to see I’ve developed a reputation. But for once, you’re wrong. It was just a question. I just, I find it a bit strange to go ’oh, it’s rubbish’, and then ask for a better copy! Do you not like it because it’s crunchy sounding (it being a vinyl-rip and all if my assumption is correct), or because you think it’s rubbish?

@mixella: thank you very much for the uploading :)

I’ve played the acoustic version after a long long time, and realised it’s not that bad. But, as you have said, it’s crunchy sounding (that particular version was never available on CD). I’d like to know if there’s a better transfer out there...

@Mixella - How come your version is missing part at the beginning? On the version I have, there’s some talking at the start...did you just edit it out or something? If so, nice work, I wouldn’t have noticed if I’d never listened to this before ;-)
mixella1 said on May 3, 2008 23:24:
@whateveriam the first song i discovered it from strong dc++ boy or girl and i asked all of my friends if they heard it because i wasn’t sure if they have it and they send me the second song (acoustic one) i guess they have it like that edited. hope you understand my English
7-Twenty-7 said on April 16, 2008 23:38:
It’s the same song. I assume ’& Cia’. (meaning ’& company’) is Ratata and Eva Dahlgren, because that person was lazy to type the complete names.
