I am having the album, the album is nice but the single is even better. She is brilliant I think.

I think she’s excellent! Brilliant voice which would’ve gone undiscovered if it hadn’t have been for X Factor. Normally, I think that those talent shows are good fun to watch, the normally the people who win don’t have a very long career (remember Liberty X and Hear’Say???) Leona is different. She is going to be around for many years. She’s co-written some songs on her album, and I think her voice is only going to get stronger as she gets older. Look at Celine Dion - her voice has got better and better with time.

I like her, wouldn’t buy an album though...I think...
And #1 in America is great!

She should be a world wide smash , she is being manufactured by the best in the biz, all far to false for my liking.

I saw her for the first time at the Brits Awards. I liked her voice and I think she’s a very good singer. Don’t know if her album will be released here in Argentina.

She’s an amazing singer and has admitted to her influences such as Whitney H., Mariah C., Celine Dion and I believe Etta James etc... Her new album “Spirit” is amazing. “Better In Time” is my FAV. “Footprints In The Sand” and “Yesterday” are gorgeous tunes as well. A great way to jump-start a career with great songs. If she keeps her head on straight, she will be around for a very very long time. Not to get off ’subject’, but it is ashame that Whitney went down that dark road per say. I heard there is an album of hers in the works but, with all the self-inflicted abuse (drugs..), I am not so sure if her vocals will be as good as they once were. I mean, for anyone who’s sung as long as she has, of course, your vocals will not be the same (strain, age etc...) but, the added abuse doesn’t help either. Leona Lewis is a new born star and in a couple more years she will be the COSMOS!!! ;o)

I don’t think there is anything wrong from being discovered through a talent show. In the last years so many doors have been closed in the music industry for potential new artists, so I believe reality music shows just opened doors again to potential new artists. And Leona is also a good songwriter, she is true talent. Simply amazing. Number 1 with both single and album in the US, simply amazing!!

amazing songwriter? she didnt’ write bleeding love a kid called jessey mccartney wrote the song. lenoa is just liek celibe dion an excellent interpretive singer. I really like I will be off her album, right now going through a breakup I need a good singer like her to keep me sane. Thing is the amrican market won’t treat her well cause she chooses to keep her clothes on

She can sing, you can’t deny that, but too much hype for my liking, still I am sure she will go far, that is till people get bored!

Leona Lewis is a good singer but not my cup of tea. .She’s Mariah Carey kind of singer and I dont think we need another one of those. Xfactor show is Idol with more options (age groups) so even 60 years old people can have potential shot at fame. Shows like that produce manufactured pop and will never discover another ROXETTE or other people who are capable of creating their own music.
