Marie said that there will be something new from Roxette for sure in the future. This could be something small like goodbye single, some re-editions of old albums with bonuses but it could be real big comeback also with new studio album. So let´s guess what it will be.

The best–at least for America–thing for Roxette to do is possibly come out with a studio album but with no huge venues to promote the new album. Do sort of what Noel Gallagher did for Oasis’; trying to bring back in the states “again”; and do smaller venues. Almost the same type of setting as their (Roxette) MTV ’un-plugged’ gig. Only do select cities where there is an interest (obviously) and just go from there. Marie needs to relax, enjoy each day as it’s given to her, spend as much time with her family and let Per do what he does best. Cheers and Peace!

A new studio album that they have recorded secretly in 1996 and was found by Per on New Year’s Eve in 2007. Some remasterings and: there it is. ;-)

@Robbie: regarding my comment about ringing Roxette about the new album. What I wanted to say is that it’s better to wait till there’s a better reason to call Per or Marie. I guess, it will be an interview with Per when The World According To Gessle is re-released. I’m sure that Thomas will certainly ask about Roxette future.

In the meantime, I got some informations off the record, I cannot reveal the source, but it seems that nothing is going to happen regarding Roxette in the near future.
At least nothing is happening right now.

Almost every Roxette album recordings started in the begining of the year (January, February) with album releasing next spring, so if there will be new album, we can expect some informations from Per before Christmas I guess. I hope we will. ;-)

Btw. I think we will have a new studio album in our hands in late 2009 or in 2010 then maybe Marie with Per will go on promo or live small tour.

I think Roxette will make a new album for sure!! And I think we will get some of their older stuff released on DVD....
